Santosh ends the day in 45th spot

After a tough day 3, Hero MotoSports’ Paulo Goncalves stormed his way to fourth spot today. Speedy Goncalves brought his A-game on stage 4 as he sped his Hero 450RR to finish just 2 minute 11 second behind the stage winner, Cornejo Florimo. Sadly, his brilliant ride helps him climb up to 77th spot in the overall rankings.

Sherco-TVS Racing boys too enjoyed a great day in the Saudi desert with Johnny Aubert leading the charge on stage 4. Aubert finished the day in seventh with teammate Lorenzo Santolino rounding off the top 10. Adrien Metge too, had a superb day, finishing the stage in 15th position. These brilliant results help the team rise up further in the overall rankings with Adrien, Lorenzo and Johnny currently in 11th, 14th and 16th position.

Hero’s rookie rider, Sebastien Buhler, stormed his way to 21st spot on stage 4. His consistent performance has helped his cause of being the top Hero rider, as he currently sits in 20th position.

Teammate, C S Santosh, had one of the finer days on the saddle. Despite nursing a wrist injury sustained on the opening stage, Santosh finished 45th. The Fast Indian now climbs up to 40th position in the overall rankings and seems on course to breaking into the top 35.

Even though Hero’s Joaquim Rodrigues and TVS’ Harith Noah are no longer part of the general category, the two had a good day in the field. J-Rod was an impressive 23rd while rookie Noah, who himself is dealing with an eye injury, was 48th on the day.

As we edge closer to the rest day, stage five will see the riders clock 353km of competitive stage with nearly 41 per cent of it being run in the dunes of the Rub' al Khali desert.
