BMW Launches Smart Video After-sales Service App

The app enables ease of communication between customer and dealership technicians

BMW India, in an attempt to streamline its after-sales service to customers, has introduced the BMW Smart Video app-based solution. This solution will enable customers to give real-time approvals for service and repairs from the comfort of their homes without the hassle of frequent trips to the dealership.

This app-based solution also eases communication between the dealership technicians and customers, as the technicians will be able to make a video of the vehicle explaining the service/repair requirements and share the quotation online. Customers will then receive a link where they can go through the service requirements via the video and accordingly approve the service online without extra trips to the dealership. BMW has already received positive feedback from upto 10,000 customers in the country. This solution is already live in 50 countries in the BMW network, including Australia, the US and the UK.

As a first in the Indian luxury car segment, BMW India has introduced BMW Smart Video, an exclusive app-based smart video and image solution where customers can give real-time approvals for service and repairs. BMW Smart Video solution has already benefitted more than 10,000 customers with high rate of customer satisfaction.

Through BMW Smart Video, the dealership technicians are able to make a video of the vehicle explaining the service / repair requirements and share the quotation online. Customers receive a link where they can understand the service requirements through the Company video and give an approval online without the hassle of visiting the dealership again.
