BMW Conducts The Rally of Jaypore 2016.

Rally of Jaypore is the 4th event that is powered by BMW and this event took the thrill of motorsport to the next level with the addition of an exclusive ‘Super Speciality Stage’ on a specially designed off-road track. The rally was flagged-off by Vikrant Singh, Director – Sales Channel Development, BMW Group India, Puneet Sanghi, Managing Director – Sanghi Classic, and Abhay Dange, Director – Press and Corporate Affairs. All participants who reached the final stage of this event had to prove their skills on the Super Speciality Stage track. Along with that, drivers had to set the best lap time driving the BMW X Sports Activity Vehicles (SAV).

The versatility of BMW SAV’s at the Super Specialty Stage in the rally provides participants with first-hand experience of Sheer Driving Pleasure.”

The event was divided into two categories, one being the Car / SUV – two Wheel Drive (Track and Trail) – (200 km) and the second was the SUV – 4 Wheel Drive (Sand Storm) – (450 km) which was further categorized into - PRO up to 1600 cc and PRO above 1600 cc. The trial at the rally was intense, as the skill of both man and machine was put to the test. Participants had to navigate the vehicles through bumpy rides, rocky tracks, and slippery pits, but, as it was a competition, all the drivers were determined to get the first place by any means necessary.
