Made from the metal of INS Vikrant, the V15 is a piece of heritage

India’s first aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, was scrapped last year and initially it seemed that the battle ship would end up being part of folklore. Gladly, though, the INS Vikrant got a new lease of life with the new Bajaj V15 as it makes use of the same steel that was used in the aircraft carrier. The first thing that grabs your attention is the eye-catchy styling of the motorcycle which makes it stand apart from its rather mundane-looking rivals with its cafe racer silhouette. Also, the bike can be easily transformed into a single-seater with the optional rear cowl (segment first). The raised handlebar, centre-set footpegs results in an upright and comfortable riding posture so that one could tirelessly ride long distances.

On the move, the first thing that you will notice is the low-end torque that the engine delivers. It is really beneficial while riding in crawling traffic and this is where the nimble handling dynamics of the V15 comes into picture. The Bajaj V15 carries a sticker price of Rs 62,000 which makes it the most affordable 150cc motorcycle in India.
