The Venue retains all its petrol trim levels in the transition to BS6. It now costs between Rs 6.70 lakh to Rs 11.51 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The automatic variant comes with a dual-clutch gearbox and now retails between Rs 9.60 lakh and Rs 11.51 lakh.
As for the diesel Venue, the carmaker will discontinue the 1.4-litre turbo diesel which the Venue shared with the Elite i20 and Verna. It is likely to be replaced with a larger 1.5-litre diesel from the Kia Seltos. It is expected to make the same 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque as the Seltos.

Hyundai’s move readies the carmaker for the looming March 31 BS6 deadline. Other compact cars in the company’s lineup, such as the Aura sub-4m sedan and select variants of the Nios hatchback, have already been updated for the upcoming emission regulations. Until the end of March, buying a BS6 Venue will be a voluntary decision for the car buyer.
