2016 Rider Mania Dates Announced

Royal Enfield has announced dates for the 2016 edition of the Rider Mania motorcycle event, which will be held at the beach town of Vagator in Goa. The 2016 Royal Enfield Rider Mania will be held from November 18th to November 20th. According to the iconic Indian bikemaker, the 2016 edition of Rider Mania will witness the largest gathering of Royal Enfield owners ever. More than 4,500 riders have already registered for the three-day event and interested riders can log in to the official website to register themselves.

Rider Mania will play host to a wide variety of interesting motorcycle-related events, from contests to learning courses to live music. There will also be a special learner’s course to educate the Royal Enfield riders with tips for better riding. Rider Mania is also a platform for Royal Enfield owners to meet and interact with fellow bikers from different parts of the country who share the same passion for motorcycles. On November 18th, there will be a special off-road training session in which bikers will be trained for basic riding skills on dirt by experienced coaches. 

The most sought after event of Rider Mania is dirt track racing, which will have a Himalayan category for the first time ever, apart from the up to 360cc & up to 550cc categories, giving riders a chance to showcase their off-roading capabilities. The dirt track race will be held across all three days and will follow the International Sporting Code of the FIM & appendices of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI). 

There will be other interesting racing events like slow race, trials racing for Himalayan owners, maze chase, assembly wars and “carry your bike.”  If you want experience Goa in its truest sense a special ride has been organised, which will take the rider to Mahadai Wildlife Sanctuary, Divar Island, via Panjim to Old Goa, comprising of a ferry ride before culminating at Vagator. There will also be a custom bike competition where all the best bike builders from across the country will be present to showcase their creations.
