The luxury carmaker has unveiled its new C-Class sedan at the first ever CeBIT show held in Bangalore to show its advanced technology prowess

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan at the first ever CeBIT expo in Bangalore ahead of its official launch on November 25, 2014. CeBIT is the world’s largest computer expo where various industry giants stage their developments in the IT sector. With the unveiling of the new C-Class sedan at this event, the luxury carmaker aimed at displaying its research and development and IT-engineering activities in India.

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class demonstrates the company’s involvement in the IT sector. Mercedes-Benz emphasises on the importance of the IT sector by explaining that customers not only expect appealing design, outstanding quality and superb performance from their cars, but they also wish to stay connected,  be entertained and informed while using their vehicles.

The 2015 C-Class sedan, according to  the luxury carmaker, showcases a mix of style with an in-car entertainment system that integrates next-generation telematics and IT systems. The company has also stated that it constantly implements latest technologies on its vehicles and has also been at the forefront in semi-autonomous and autonomous driving systems.

The new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan gains its inspiration from the company's flagship Mercedes-Benz S-Class. This new sedan will flaunt the luxury carmaker’s latest design language. Under the hood, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will come with petrol as well as diesel engine options.

The C200 petrol will get a 2.0-litre four-cylinder mill expected to churn out 211PS of power and 350Nm of torque, while the C220 diesel will be powered by a 2.2-litre capable of delivering 170PS of power and 400Nm of torque. Both cars will be mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Once launched, the new 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will lock horns with the Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series.
