Speed junkies, this one’s for you. India’s roads might not always give you the freedom to stretch a supercar’s legs. But that hasn’t stopped exotic brands from rolling out machines built to shatter records. From hybrid-powered rockets to iconic V12 legends, these cars represent the pinnacle of performance. Some of them may no longer be on sale, yet their mind-bending numbers continue to make enthusiasts sit up and take notice.
So, let’s dive into the five fastest cars sold in India and see what makes each one truly special.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale represents Maranello’s leap into the hybrid supercar space. Its twin-turbocharged V8 pairs with three electric motors to deliver a combined output of 1000 PS and 800 Nm. The SF90 Stradale accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.5 seconds, while its top speed reaches 340 kmph. It is priced from Rs 7.50 crore (ex-showroom).

Lamborghini Revuelto
The Revuelto is Lamborghini's first V12 plug-in hybrid supercar. The 6.5-litre V12 in the Revuelto is paired with three electric motors to create staggering performance of 1001 PS and 725 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds and top out at 349 km/h. It is priced from Rs 8.89 crore (ex-showroom).

Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae
The Aventador Ultimae was the final send-off for Lamborghini’s legendary V12 before the hybrid era took over. With its aggressive styling, naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, and a soundtrack that gives goosebumps, the Aventador Ultimae is a collector’s dream. It sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds and can storm all the way to 355 kmph, making it one of the fastest machines to ever grace Indian roads.

McLaren 720S
The McLaren 720S brings together lightweight construction, along with an aerodynamic-focused design. At its heart sits a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that helps the 720S accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 341 kmph. Beyond the figures, the 720S stands out for its carbon-fibre monocoque and sharp handling balance, qualities that make it a favourite amongst enthusiasts. Currently, it is not retailed in India, as the 720S has been replaced by the 750S.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4
The Aventador LP 700-4 marked the beginning of a V12 era for Lamborghini when it debuted. With its jetfighter-inspired styling and naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12, it became an instant icon. The Aventador can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350 kmph, figures that keep it firmly amongst the fastest cars in the world. Though it has long been discontinued, the LP 700-4 remains one of the most admired Lamborghinis to ever hit Indian shores.

Whether it’s the swansong of the Aventador, the razor-sharp precision of the 720S, or the hybrid future embodied by the Revuelto and the SF90 Stradale, these models set their own benchmark for speed and engineering. Together, they trace the arc of performance evolution, reminding enthusiasts that supercars are as much about ambition and innovation as they are about outright numbers.
