The Volkswagen Taigun can now be availed under pre-defined subscription plans. You can pick up the Dynamic Line (Comfortline, Highline, and Topline) and GT Plus under the subscription services. Sadly, the GT with the 1.5-litre TSI manual can’t be rented out.
Volkswagen is yet to give the specifics of the subscription service, but the German carmaker said plans start from Rs 28,000. Customers can pick up the vehicle under subscription services for 24, 36, or 48 months. Prices of these plans will be inclusive of periodic maintenance, insurance cover, 100 percent on-road financing, and even upgrade (wherever possible) for the vehicle.
The subscription will initially be offered in 30 Volkswagen outlets across Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
The Volkswagen Taigun is powered by a 115PS 1-litre and 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The latter also comes with cylinder deactivation technology, shutting down two cylinders for improved fuel economy. Take a look at the specifications:
