Though, we assume most owners of this off-road-ready Huracan will limit their usage to the tarmac

The first images of the off-road-specific Huracan Sterrato have been officially revealed by Lamborghini. And while earlier we did have a fair idea of how this rugged supercar will look, the camouflage is off now, giving us a finer insight into its design touches.

Obviously, the first thing that catches your eye is the increased ride height, which Lambo says is for driving pleasure even on asphalt or dirt surfaces. Then there’s the beefy black body cladding, which adds muscle to the design, while the taller profile tyres will ensure the immaculately detailed alloys don’t get scruffed.

The rear bumpers are also nicely shaved off and sit higher off the ground, giving it added clearance. To dial up the adventure quotient, the off-road specific sports car also gets two LED lights on the bumper, offering better illumination. Yes, the roof-mounted lights from the concept would have been a nice touch, but the Sterrato branded roof rails do give it a cool feel.

Technical specifications of the upcoming Huracan Sterrato are still under wraps. But Lambo earlier said that this will be the swansong for its pure internal-combustion-engine era. And given that it’s a Huracan ready for an apocalypse, we are pretty sure that the 5.2-litre naturally aspirated engine, which gets a hood scope for better breathability, will be driving all four wheels.

The Huracan Sterrato, then, looks prepared to take on any loosely surfaced terrain and rally stages. But despite its off-road-specific design, we bet most owners will prefer to use this car on the road, considering that it will sit on top of the range with a beefy sticker price. More details will be revealed on November 30, when it’s being revealed. Stay tuned.
