Honda's all-new streetfighter detailed in images

Honda has launched the CB300F in India at Rs 2,25,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). Here’s everything the all-new streetfighter packs up close in detailed images.

In terms of appearance, the Honda CB300F gets a proper modern urban streetfighter design language. It gets sharp body panels with fuel tank shrouds extending frontwards, which gives the bike a more aggressive appeal. It also gets an all-LED lighting system. In several aspects, it looks like a slightly toned-down version of the Honda CB500F

Powering the CB300F is an all-new 293cc single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine producing 24.47PS and 25.6Nm. The motor comes paired to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It also features Honda Selectable Torque Control, which reduces the rear wheel slip for better control.

In terms of underpinnings, the Honda CB300F features a USD fork and a five-step adjustable monoshock suspension setup. For braking, it gets a 276mm disc up front and a 220mm disc at the rear with radial-axial callipers, paired with the safety net of dual channel ABS. For perspective, the 200 Duke features switchable dual channel ABS.

The Honda CB300F rides on smaller 17-inch alloy wheels which should help in offering a better street riding experience. The wheels are wrapped in MRF Revz FC1 110/150 rubbers.

Coming to the features, the CB300F comes packed with an LCD instrument cluster, which displays information including distance to empty, mileage and gear position indicator. Additionally, the streetfighter gets Honda’s smartphone voice control system (on the higher variant) and USB type C charging socket.

With a price tag of over Rs 2.2 lakh, the Honda CB300F is on the more expensive side of the spectrum and rivals the likes of the KTM 200 Duke, Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha FZ-25 and Bajaj Pulsar N250.
