The C3 is currently the carmaker’s entry-level model in the country. The hatch is a petrol-only offering, getting a choice of either a 82PS, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and 110PS, 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engines, paired with a five-speed and six-speed manual ‘box, respectively. That said, it gets only the essential features, which you can read about in our first drive review.
In the future, Citroen will be launching the C3 with a more feature loaded variant with all the missing essentials. It’s also expected to get an auto ‘box that is expected to be introduced later in 2023. And for those looking for an eco-friendly option, the carmaker is already busy testing the C3 EV, which is expected to be revealed by 2022.
