The inaugural edition of Generation Speed 2025 is set to hit the Aamby Valley Air Strip on February 22-23, promising a high-octane weekend packed with cars, bikes, motorsport legends, and adrenaline-pumping experiences. Here’s a breakdown of what attendees can expect at India’s ultimate motoring festival.

Curated Car Displays

From race-spec machines to ultra-rare collectibles, the Generation Speed Festival will feature over 200 iconic vehicles spanning various categories. The racing cars lineup includes Formula 4, Formula Marutis, Caterhams, rally cars, and drag cars. Supercar and classic car enthusiasts can look forward to exclusive supercars curated by the “Speed Shikhari” and vintage race cars showcased by WIAA, including a rare Jaguar XK120 race spec model. 

India’s best-modified machines, selected through the nationwide “Mod Scout” tour, will be on display alongside motorized oddities like a fully functional, motorized moving sofa. The festival will also feature a Hero Motorsports and Skoda vRS Display, showcasing the Dakar Factory bike and every generation of the Skoda vRS.

Meet the Motorsport Legends

For those who want to interact with the icons of Indian motorsport, the festival will host numerous racing veterans, including Rohit Isaac, Vicky Chandhok, and rally champion Chetan Shivram. Women in motorsport will also be represented, with notable names like Aashi Hanspal, Kajal Prajapati, Shriya Lohia, and more sharing their experiences.

Drifting enthusiasts can look forward to a special showcase and competition judged by international drift stars from Drift Home Dubai.

Adrenaline-Packed Experiences

Attendees can go beyond spectating and jump into various motorsport experiences. Drift Taxi and Rally Car Rides will allow fans to sit shotgun in a high-powered drift or rally machine, while off-road adventures like the GS Trail and Defender Experience will offer hands-on excitement.

The Speedway Shootout will see a high-speed showdown between Imran Majid’s Nissan GTR and Sean Rogers’ Audi R8, while the Formula Car vs Paramotoring Flight Race will bring an unusual but thrilling competition. Motorcycle fans can experience the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Drag & Drift, and those looking for more fun can enjoy karting, dirt karts, and ATV rides.

Overlanding And Adventure Zones

For those who prefer the road less travelled, the Pathfinders Serai will feature overlanding legends sharing their experiences. Adventurers like Sorabh Chinoy, who completed a London to Bombay trip in 1974, and Medha-Sujal, who travelled from India to Casablanca, will provide insights into long-haul overlanding. Anand Baid’s family trip from India to Paris in a Fiat Linea is another inspiring story among many others.

Meanwhile, Adventure Square will offer activities like zip-lining, rock climbing, rappelling, paintball, and rope walking. Visitors can also enjoy camping under the stars for a complete motorsport weekend getaway.

Competitions & Announcements

Motorsport action isn’t just for the professionals but even the attendees can participate in various competitive events. The GS Drift Championship will see the top five winners get a Moto Clinic at Red Bull’s Moto Jam. The Autocross Championship will feature 2- and 4-wheeler categories with a prize money of Rs 2.5 lakh. Other fun competitions include the Pitstop Challenge and Remote-Controlled Car Racing.

The Main Stage will also host major announcements, such as the unveiling of Sportec’s Drift Baleno and new colours for the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.

Music, Shopping And Entertainment

Beyond cars and racing, Generation Speed 2025 will deliver a full festival experience. Each evening will feature live music performances, and the Carlsberg Elephant Strong Soda Garden will be available for refreshments. Attendees can shop for exclusive motoring accessories and merchandise, while a special Sunday Brunch on the Speedway will offer gourmet meals with a view of high-speed action.
