Customer test drives for the Tiago EV will begin in late December, with deliveries commencing from January 2023.

Specs and features

The Tiago EV gets multiple powertrain options: 19kWh and 24kWh. With a claimed range of up to 250km, the former feeds power to a 61PS electric motor making 105Nm. The bigger 24kWh battery pack is paired with a 75PS/114Nm electric motor and has a claimed range of 315km.

Charging options include a standard 3.3kW AC charger and a 7.2kW AC fast charger that can be had for a premium of Rs 50,000 with the XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux trims.

The electric Tiago packs additional features over the standard Tiago’s offering. Multi-level regenerative braking, cruise control, leatherette seats, and smartwatch connectivity are now offered alongside the existing seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a cooled glovebox, and a rear defogger with wiper.
