Horwin Introduces The 2022 CR6 Electric Cafe Racer

Electric bikemaker Horwin has unveiled its 2022 lineup. Apart from its range of electric scooters it has also updated the CR6 cafe racer electric motorcycle.

The CR6 is a good looking electric motorcycle with a good balance of retro and modern charm. It is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor offering a max power of 6.2kW and max torque of 260Nm at the wheel. Horwin claims a top speed of 95kmph and a range of 120km from a single charge from the 53Ah Panasonic lithium-ion battery pack. It also claims a 0-80 percent charging time of three hours. The CR6 tips the scale at 107kg (without battery), which should make this a very urban friendly motorcycle.

In terms of features, it gets full LED lighting, LCD instrument cluster, anti-theft warning, keyless access and more. It even gets a small storage space inside its faux fuel tank which also has a USB charging port. Priced at Euro 6,640 (roughly Rs 5.5 lakh) this is certainly not the most reasonably priced e-motorcycle on sale today and is more of a niche product than a main-stream pocket-friendly runabout. All in all, the CR6 ticks all the right boxes for a proper retro-looking electric bike.
