The MG Windsor EV generated quite a buzz with an aggressive starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Windsor EV is basically the rebadged version of the Wuling Cloud EV and in this report, we are going to take a look at the colour options being offered with the electric crossover.
This bluish shade of green looks unique and makes the crossover stand out from the crowd of other SUVs.
The clear shade of white makes the car look elegant.
This sand-like shade provides simplicity and warmth to the car’s look.
Dark as it seems, the crossover in the black colour exudes a menacing look for sure.
The MG Windsor EV gets features like a large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic glass roof, 135-degree reclining rear seats, automatic climate control, a 9-speaker Infinity sound system, 256-colour ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, cruise control, auto-fold ORVMs and connected car features.
The electric crossover’s safety suite has 6 airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX and a 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors.
The MG Windsor EV is equipped with a 38 kWh battery pack, unlike its international counterpart which gets a 50.6 kWh battery pack. The battery powers the motor churning out an output of 136 PS and 200 Nm to its front wheels. With this battery setup, it has a claimed range of 331 km.
Prices for the MG Windsor EV start at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). But, this price is exclusive of the battery cost. The buyers need to pay Rs 3.5 per km extra for the battery usage. At this price, the Windsor EV can be considered a competitor to the Tata Punch EV while in features and specifications, the electric crossover rivals the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
