This year there were no new bikes and scooters by Honda 2 Wheelers.. Instead, Honda launched the Activa E and QC1 at the Auto Expo 2025. Lets take a closer look at these EV launches by Honda two-wheelers.
Honda Activa E
Honda Activa e launched at Auto Expo 2025. This EV from Honda will cost Rs 1,17,000 (ex-showroom). It features a removable 3kWh battery which can be charged using a home charger. With the launch of the Activa e, Honda also introduced battery swapping stations where an Activa e ower can swap their drained battery and replace it with a charged one. The Honda Activa e offers a range of 102km on a full charge. It is capable of doing a top speed of 81kmph. It also gets a 5-inch LCD screen and three riding modes: Eco, Standard and Sport
Honda QC1
The Honda QC1 was launched alongside the Honda Activa e and is a more affordable EV from the Japanese brand at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). The QC1 gets a 1.5kWh fixed battery pack. It offers a range of 80km and is capable of hitting a top speed of 50kmph. The Honda QC1 gets a 5-inch LCD console, all-LED lights, and two riding modes: Standard and Eco. The QC1 comes with a 26-litre underseat storage along with a 1.45-litre glove box. It takes 6.5 hours to charge using its 330W charger.
Honda MotoCompacto
Honda also showcased the MotoCompacto at Auto Expo. It is the successor to the legendary MotoCompo. It gets a 0.748kWh battery pack and produces a peak output of 490W.It is capable of doing a top speed of 24.14kmph and weighs only 18kg. That said, it is not a road legal scooter.
The Honda electric scooters come with Honda’s fabled dependability and quality. The Activa e: could enjoy the Honda Activa brand name in terms of sales. Whereas the Honda QC1 will make owning a Honda EV more affordable.
