Ducati-Italwin E-bikes

After tying up with Italian cycle maker Italwin, Ducati has released two new bicycle models, City Queen and City King designed for the European market. The bikes get an advanced iTorq system that based on data gathered from sensors, delivers consistent speed devoid of any slag between the pedalling effort, while acceleration can be selected from three riding modes - slow, progressive and brisk. Simple yet elegant, the e-bikes are available in three Ducati colours.

Hydroformed in light alloy tubing, the frame on the bicycles remains unchanged, while the front fork moves from monoshock to the classic type for added stiffness. Both versions have a city-bike type handlebar with conventional stem, providing a more upright position for the rider and enabling the attachment of a child seat. Furthermore, the tyres now sport an increased cross-section to provide enhanced comfort on bumpy city roads and increased stability when crossing city tram tracks.

Currently available in Europe only, the new electric bikes by Italwin are offered in the three stylish Ducati motorcycle colours of pearl white, Ducati red and metallic anthracite.
