This sport requires a sheer combination of skill, strength, spirit and stamina. Apart form stamina and skill, mountain biking is also all about technique. Balancing a bike well is of utmost importance as it mainly helps you climb steep pitches, besides, mastering control of your bike, like in the case of motorcycles and cars, is s great booster of confidence for a biker. Further, riding in control, avoids crashes and gives you the ability to adjust to the terrain and the environment while passing through it. Good control on the bike also includes adequate command over speed. For instance going uphill is more physically challenging than otherwise. 1.) Cycling downhill with front brake, which is incomparably more efficient than the rear brake.

2.) Always keep the elbows relaxed and bend at about 90°.

3.) Grip the cycle bar firmly, but the grip shouldn’t be too tight.

4.) Keep your back straight, at about 45° from the ground surface.

5.) Mountain biking is inherently dangerous; ride within safety limits

Also, a riding kit is a must for every biker, if interested in safe and fun ride. Essentials requirement is a first aid box and a basic bike repairs.
