Dear Sir, I was in same confusion while taking my first ever car.we will make it simple. If you wanna budget friendly,service cost friendly vehicle then go with swift but if you want a real joy of driving(keeping your budget out of mind) then go with grand I10.keep in mind no difference in avg. I am gating 18 kmpl on highway and 13-14 in city on my four years old I10

The besty will be grand i10... it is definitely a value for money car and all its comfort and convenience features are better than swift. Besides safety is better in grand i10 than swift.

Old Swift is no where compared to any Hatch Backbut the new one is more fragile and has Slim Look and feel. Grand I10 is Comfort and Luxury where else Swift is Just Stylish

Both have their own riding style as swift for racing, high pickup etc but Grand i10 have more spacious, more control on riding, better interior and steady in years by years, comfortable ride as I had driven Grand i10 from Delhi to Indore i.e. 980km in one day drive without tiered. Grand i10 best in this segment.

If you want a safe car then I would go with i10 but swift gives more mileage then i10 so it is really upto the driver that he wants more security or more mileage

There is no confusion that Grand i10 is far better than Swift. It has great quality, more comfortable, spacious. Other side Swift has better mileage, low on maintenance. If you budget / price caution than go for Swift. If not choose Grand i10.

@ Namrata | I10 grand magna giving just max of 8kmpl. After changing clutch plate by hyundai now getting even less - 6kmpl... Hating hyundai

The problem might be something else, my grand i10 Asta petrol is giving 11-12kmpl in Hyderabad's terrible traffic, AC never turned off ever. And the car is smoother than butter, more so on Highways. It literally glides

Grand i10 is better in terms of ride quality and overall car ownership experience whereas Swift is more zippy to drive.

I too have travelled a tour of 1473 KM's in 18 hrs by my grand i10 and was great experience.so, I would recommend grand i10 whereas swift has its own benefits..

Grand i10 is best...suzuki is also good but hyundai is bestest in safety and comfort...yes mileage is low as compared to swift but performance is best...

Not at all Grandi10 is best as of now in class. Great interior, handlening (it depends on user.I personally liked) safety, features , built quality etc.

Both. It depends on the buyer's discretion but Grand i10 has a way more refined engine and much better performance. A bit on the lower side on Mileage front but styling and detailing of the car is such that Swift looks more mellow
