Which is better petrol or diesel

See Brother it totally depend how much you daily drive the vehicle. If your daily running more than 40 - 80 km per day than you should definitely go for diesel one but if your daily drive just lower than it not worth to go for diesel. Even Era and Asta O version lot of good interior and feel good feature will be missing , if you go for era version... Reg. Diesel vehicles no idea about govt. plan for stop, but i think Govt. might be set less life cycle compare to petrol. Elite i 20 petrol version mileage are slightly lower side compare to any Maruti petrol vehicle like baleno, swift etc.. As i have Elite i 20 Asta O Petrol 2017 model and driving busy Bangalore city traffic gets around 11 -12 km in city & highway around 14 - 16 km depends driving pattern. You can easily get around 16 km with smooth driving on highway & 12 km in city with full time Ac.Even i gets same till now. Maintenance come around 5- 7 thousands with service interval 10000 km.

Price wise diesel is cheaper by about 10/- noise wise petrol is betterchoice wise your wifes choice is better, peace at home. 😂😂😂 (pls don't mind the joke)

Petrol feels underpowered as it is very linear and fuel economy is poor! But its very refined!Diesel is pretty punchy and more economical!!

Depends upon your daily running. If monthly running is upto 2000 kms, petrol is better. If more than that, go for diesel

For short commuting & travelling petrol option is good but for long commuting & travelling go for diesel option.

I think petrol engine is best but if u want average than u should go for hyundai i20 diesel variant
