Maruti engines are tried and tested in India for more than a decade now. Diesel churns out good power and torque after 1750 RPM and can be pulled through 3000 RPM for consistent power. But Petrol is refined and smooth. Petrol feels underpowered though. If you wish to go for petrol then buy RS version. Its engine is peppy and refined at the same time. Personal Suggestion- if your running is atleast 3-4k kms a month then only think for Diesel

Petrol would be a better choice if you're using occasionally, diesel is for long drives but Cal culatte maintenance of diesel engine as wellon the other hand consider emissions are too high Diesel....

Baleno petrol is a much better refined car, diesel engine is quite old now in the market and has actually started showing its age, i would suggest you to go for petrol and that too mild hybrid

Petrol will be the best as diesel and petrol dose not have much difference in price and moreover maintenance cost is low for petrol version. Average Rs.4,500/- to Rs.5,500/- per annum

Baleno petrol will be the best option because the k series petrol engine in baleno is highly refined engine and gives a punchy drive experience. In 2020 MS will discontinue their 1.3 litre diesel engine and introduce new 1.5 litre diesel engine if it is offered in baleno then go for that.

Depends on your usage. If the running of vehicle is low than you should opt for petrol. But if you run out a lot than go for diesel..

Bro Baleno comes only with K15 petrol engine no Diesel is offered as maruti has discontinued the diesel engine with bs6 norms

Petrol should be better because in cabin noise is quiet high even for petrol, in that case diesel will be quite disturbing

Baleno petrol is better as the lag in pick up is less in petrol than the diesel due to the heavier diesel engine w r t engine to weight ratio

If you wants to drive your baleno more than 800****000kms in a month you must go for diesel variant.Otherwise the petrol variant is so good.

Depending on usage how much you drive in vity stop and go traffic go for petrol and long drive of about 50 to 100 km daily go for diesel
