Q. Which Creta variant should be bought SX 1.6 petrol or 1.6 diesel?

You can not get it now creta 1.6cc due to BSVI , now new creta is only available with 1.5cc. Few old model creta is still available in some showroom, not sure. if it is then not sure if they are able to sell due to BSVI norms.

I have petrol 1.6sx+ engine in my creta and honestly i have never found it lacking in power i usually drive at 100kmph in highway average and overtaking trucks in slower vehicles is no problem. And in city use car can easily pull from 15 kmph in third gear, costant gear shift is not necessary.

According to your running if you have more running then go for diesel else petrol is best

Go for the diesel as it has better mid range experience ,it performs flawlessly in city commuting as well as highway mile munching.

Petrol has torque at higher rpms and diesel at lower.both are good performers but depends on your driving style.
