If you are looking for a good ride quality, space for 5, a good mileage and low cost of maintenance in a car, S-cross is definitely the choice to go for. creta on that price point is not a value for money car compared to the S-cross. again Xuv 300 on the other other hand is sub 4m compact SUV while S-cross is a larger car with larger seating space and boot size.

The S-Cross might not be your traditional square SUV, but it nails the basics of practicality, space and comfort. But then, that’s what we expect from Maruti. Maruti Suzuki has ditched the fun-to-drive 1.6-litre engine. The 1.3-litre DDIS200 is your only choice now. The four-cylinder motor makes 90PS of power and 200Nm of peak torque; just like before. The manufacturer has added their SHVS mild hybrid tech which makes the S-Cross 7 per cent more efficient at 25.1kmpl. The engine is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. There’s no automatic transmission on offer, and Maruti says it’s unlikely the S-Cross will feature an automatic in the future. Whereas, it rivals such as Hyundai Creta, comes with both manual and automatic transmission and also it has Sunroof which makes it more popular than Maruti S-Cross. • Q. Hello friends, is s cross a good car? Please tell me in details thanks in advance .. - S-Cross?

I agree with pubg here. I own an S-cross and by far it is one of the best drivers car. it is not uncomfortable by any means, infact it is one of the cars that gives you a matured ride and handling. out on the highway I agree power is on lower side, yes it takes time to pick up pace unlike other more powerful cars in the segment but mind that it can easily reach 170-180 kmph and best part is that it can maintain that speed on an open stretch without any issue. more powerful cars like ecosport on the other hand struggle to maintain high speeds because of poor high speed stability of the car. lower power doesn't mean uncomfortable.
