It is indeed a mouth watering price tag but here are some points that needs to be checked before purchasing a used car. 1. Do check the services and insurance record of the car to know about the car condition & damage areas. 2. Let the car be parked into an open space, avoiding shadows with adequate sunlight falling on the car & check for any dents and repair work. 3. Make sure that you get the warrant from the date of purchase. 4. Step inside and check the interiors and monitor the overall features and details on offer. 5. Get the car checked with the authorised service centre to know about the car condition. 6. At last take a test drive & don't forget to bargain over the price to grab a best deal. A regularly and well maintained any diesel engine can be used up to 5lakh kilometer without any problem, check the maintainace log of the car see how the user has used it and has got it serviced every 10k ,maybe clutch plate and pressure plate needs to be changed if in good condition then no issue. Take it to a Hyundai service station and get it checked for any accident damage, check battery and Tyre life because these would be expensive and if you have to spend for those then you can negotiate more

  • Q. Which car I should buy Elentra petrol top model or Octavia diesel top model? I should know about best engine for long life?

Choosing the fuel type would depend on your daily running with the car. If you drive around 50 kilometres or more in a day, then you may opt for a diesel engine, and on the other hand, if your daily running with the car is lower, then you may opt for the petrol engine. Hyundai Elantra gets a 2.0-litre petrol unit that makes 152PS of power and 192Nm of torque, whereas, Skoda Octavia gets a 2.0-litre diesel mill that churns out 143PS/320Nm. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test drive of the car for a better insight into the performance, comfort and compatibility. Follow the link for dealership details - New Car Showrooms

  • Q. Which Elentra car is powerful , diesel or petrol ?

Engines on offer include a 1.6-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre petrol. The diesel motor is the same unit that does duty under the bonnet of the Hyundai Verna, and the output isn’t any different at 128PS/260Nm either. We’d have loved to see the Tucson’s 2.0-litre Diesel engine with 190PS/400Nm under the bonnet of the diesel Elantra. The 2.0-litre petrol engine is shared with the SUV, though. It develops 152PS of power and 192Nm of torque, and is a smooth operator. Both engines can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission, or a 6-speed automatic.

I personally feel it does not make sense waiting for Honda Civic as there is no new by Honda India officially that the Civic will be launched second point is Honda diesel engine is not as refined and full-proof as the Hyundai diesel engines you take a four year full cover insurance Hyundai Elantra I bet you are on a safe car it is an excellent value for money and it is worth the money that you pay though it is slightly over-priced

  • Q. Hundai Elantra or Toyota Corolla Altis, Which one would you recommend in terms of safety, mileage and features.

Here, the best pick would be the Toyota Corolla Altis. The Toyota Corolla Altis is a good sedan to buy in the under Rs 20 Lakh segment, it is good looking on the outside, luxurious on the inside and scores high on the peace-of-mind factor. Even after almost two decades, it remains the car to beat in the segment. It still sticks to its guns of frugality, comfort and a softer ride compared to its competition. Do take the test drive of the car in order to experience the luxury.
