  • Q. How is the Road Grip, Pickup, Mileage (Diesel), Service Cost and Spares Availability?

The claimed ARAI mileage for the Ford Aspire diesel is 26 kmpl. It’s a setup that’s going to please most and offend none. The suspension hasn’t seen any major tweaks, save for the ones done to accommodate the bigger wheels and tyres. But, the ride quality does seem to be noticeably better. If you're looking at the Aspire as a fun to drive commuter, you wouldn't be disappointed. Sure, it's no Figo S that darts into corners with agility, but it's quite quick to turn in. As long as you aren't overzealous with the throttle, it'll hold its line through the corners too. The steering setup was never a bother with the Aspire, and you can expect more of the same with the update. Talking about its service and spare parts availability, it depends on the availability of service centers in your locality. Do take a test drive in order to clear all your doubts.

I am driving the diesel version for almost 3yrs now, believe me you will love the way it responds. Really best in segment. Milage depends on the driving, like if upto 100 km per hour then 23-24 km/lit., above 100 then 21-20 km/l.

What aspire less pic up ??? may be the owner not taken care of the car regularly .only sedan with has 100 HP in the segment is aspire only bro . Am using aspire since last 3 yrs still am happy with the car pic up and all . I have regular service so no issues for me till. even still o can able to make easily overtaking Innova and other bigger SUV's in highway in ease . So don't get listen other negative about the car because they won't have proper maintenance or they don't know the issue to rectify so simply go for Aspire without any doubt . Ford will always keep you going .

  • Q. My annual running is 25000 km and live in Ghaziabad. currently running Wagon-R to which I want change for a new car. I usually drive myself and travel alone and my running is mostly between one city to other like Meerut, moradabd etc. Should I go for Ford Aspire Diesel or petrol one of my friend is suggesting to go for Tiago petrol. what should I do?

    Dheeraj | 5 months ago

Sir if your running is 3000 km per month then go for diesel only coz there is no price difference in diesel and petrol and for diesel variant you have to pay more as well as government is strict on diesel vehicles....so you have to calculate your running and depreciation cost of diesel vehicles......but apart of this if you choose petrol variant then you can go to Honda Amaze as aspire in petrol variant gives 12 to 15 kmpl and your running is on higher side Honda is good for petrol engine and service network is also strong as u have to drive between cities Ford has this drawback......My choice is for you is Honda Amaze further choice is your ....Happy Riding

Sir if your running is more then 3500km per month then only go for diesel cars ....if yes then aspire diesel is fabulous choice This is the only car who comes with powerful diesel engine which produce fantastic mileage (depends upon driving )...as well as body is also solid......on the other hand if your running is low then go for petrol variant ....in this segment Honda Jazz or Honda Amaze as they are leader in smooth petrol engine......hope this reply will help you to take your final decision

  • Q. WHICH CAR IS BETTER IN TERMS OF REFINEMENT, NVH AND ON ROAD PERFORMANCE AMONG FORD ASPIRE 2018 1.5 PETROL AUTOMATIC AND 2018 HONDA AMAZE DIESEL AUTOMATIC CVT
    Zigwheels

Honda Amaze diesel CVT will be a better pick here in terms of engine refinement, NVH level. Whereas, Ford Aspire gets 3-cylinder petrol engine due to which it has high NVH level as compare to Honda Amaze.

As per your requirement we would suggest you pick for Ford Aspire. It’s the best looking car in its segment, it’s got well-appointed spacious interiors and plenty of new features that would keep even a tech geek happy. Its also good to see that Ford hasn’t compromised on safety. In fact the weak 1.2 litre petrol engine seems to be the only chink in Ford’s armour right now. The diesel is great to drive and efficient while the automatic variant is sure to offer convenience. The petrol engines are refined and will lap up the city commutes with ease. If ‘fun to drive’ is a must-have on your checklist for the next car, the diesel is the one for you. Overall, the Figo offers good driveability, a long list of features, a good set of USPs and in many ways, undercuts cars that cost a lot more. On the other hand, Amaze is certainly has a winner on its hands. It looks excitingly different, has a comfortable and feature-laden interior, and the potential to become the most appealing city-centric sedan in its class with its CVT variant. It also promises a premium ownership experience without the costs involved. Do take a test drive in order to clear all your doubts.
