Mileage of the auto variant (Petrol 18-19 kmpl, diesel 21-22 kmpl) is similar to the manual one with little difference. However, auto offers huge convenience in the congested cities, making the drive very smooth and hassle-free.

    Kumar | 1 year ago

Your daily running comes around 80 kilometres so we suggest you to go for the diesel variant in the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. The middle specification VDI is a good one and offers high reliability, good Highway performance, and best fuel efficiency in the segment. It maintains cost is also low and being a Maruti, you rest assured about the availability of spares for years.

Mine is old dzire model.... and giving 17kmpl...its nice to drive and feel power also in diesel variant... But be sure to do service periodically that's important Company service is costly and not having transparency... So better to go for outside service.

Swift Deisel and DZire petrol would offer more in this budget. Baleno is not really a value for money unless you like the design and Amaze will definitely require some addition in the budget to offer more features.

Honda Jazz is also a good option, petrols are really thirsty that too when riding with AC on. So depending upon your daily drive first decide between petrol and diesel. If you are zeroing upon a diesel then Swift will be offering more features within this budget. if you want a high stance vehicle with petrol, check out for Honda WRv or Brezza with Diesel in case you can extend your budget

  • Q. VXI or ZXI, which one is better? Is there a mileage difference due to tyres size difference - Swift Dzire?
    D
    D | 3 months ago

ZXi has an edge over VXi in terms of bigger rims, rear parking sensors, keyless entry, rear defogger, push button start and remote boot lid. Milage is overall the same but ZXi rides better due to bigger tyres.

No mileage difference ZXi is very feature loaded But the price difference between ZXi & Vxi is insane The extra features offered just doesn't justify the extra money Maruti demand

  • Q. Which model of Dzire has better look, comfort and better mileage?
    Navneet
    Navneet | 5 months ago

So far Dzire has 3 models, 1st one was longest in terms of bumper to bumper length. The 2nd model was a sub-4-meter sedan (I currently own this one). 2nd model is still available as Dzire tour for commercial purpose preferably. 3rd upgrade was launched by Maruti Suzuki in 2017. It is also sub 4 meters, with a broader instance, new design at the front and rear, comparatively more space on the 2nd row. Now if we talk about Variants. VXi for Petrol and Vdi for Diesel are mid varients with most of the equipment's available. If you are okay with company fitted Alloys with a marginally bigger tyre, go for the top variant (ZXi for petrol and ZDi for Diesel), additionally, that will have rear defogger, automatic climate control, push button to start, fog lamps and rear parking sensor as compared to V* variant. But I am sure that will come at a good premium. I own a VDi and I am okay with the equipment level available as Alloy design is subjective company fitted tyres may last for good mileage but won't be good performers and other features are okay to have but not really showstoppers.

Look of all the variants of Latest Model Dzire is same. Mileage is better of Diesel Engine but if you have a daily run of more than 80KMS than go for Diesel else petrol is better. Comfort gets better in upper variants, the more you spend the more features get added and you get more comfort out of it.

Good suspension , Excellent ground clearance , Very good mileage say 22 + , Satisfactory engine power . Best resale value its segment. Lowest maintenance cost . Go for Brezza, Nexon or Ecosport as all these 3 cars offers good room, have good ground clearance, fair mileage and a decent resale value as well.. If planning to purchase a Diesel Variant go for Nexon it will best suit you.
