  • Q. How is the first experience - Alturas G4?

Mahindra Alturas G4 is a bit of a mixed bag. It scores in spades when it comes to the equipment it's offering. It feels posh on the inside and offers a proper luxury experience as well. Where it misses out on primarily is the driving department. It definitely isn't an enthusiast pleaser and would prefer it if you drove with a light foot. If you were eyeing the Alturas as a big family road-tripper, or something that’d give you grins when you drive - the lure for the big Mahindra is limited. But, if you want nothing more than to make a statement and be pampered plenty when you’re inside the cabin, the Alturas G4 impresses. Do take a test drive of it in order to clear all your doubts.

  • Q. Between XUV 500 and Alturas G4 which one is the best as the XUV 500 is at an affordable price with some offroading capability and the Alturas is priced at a very high range.

    YOU | 3 months ago

Mahindra Alturas G4 is the flagship product from Mahindra which has been loaded with various luxurious features and amazing power. The Alturus G4 is available in only automatic transmission whereas the Mahindra XUV500 is available in Manual as well as automatic transmission. The XUV500 is also a powerful car but Alturas has a different level. If the performance is a concern the Alturas G4 is a beast in comparison to the XUV500. It would be unfair to compare both the cars as both cars vary a lot in the price range. Moreover, We would recommend you to take a test drive of these cars so that you may get a clarified perspective regarding each and every aspect of the car. Both are very nice products but g4 is best

  • Q. How is this vehicle Is it worth for its price How is it as compare to Ford Endeavour - Alturas G4?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

The Alturas, then, is a bit of a mixed bag. It scores in spades when it comes to the equipment it's offering. It feels posh on the inside and offers a proper luxury experience as well. Where it misses out on primarily is the driving department. It definitely isn't an enthusiast pleaser and would prefer it if you drove with a light foot. And on that note, we really wish the high-speed ride was more planted. If you were eyeing the Alturas as a big family road-tripper, or something that’d give you grins when you drive - the lure for the big Mahindra is limited. But, if you want nothing more than to make a statement and be pampered plenty when you’re inside the cabin, the Alturas G4 impresses. If we talk about what's good in it:- Loaded: Ventilated seats, Nappa leather upholstery, sunroof, dual-zone AC - you name it.- Safety: Body is built out of 81.7% high-strength steel, 9 airbags are a segment first.- Low-speed ride quality: Simply glides over and flattens out bumps. Deliciously smooth!- Classy interiors: Looks posh, feels properly upmarket. On the other hand, the Endeavour is a very capable machine and a large SUV with an imposing road presence rivalled Toyota Fortuner and Alturas G4. But where the Endeavour shines when compared to its arch-nemesis is its off-road capability. Anyone who ranks luxury and off-road capability above all else should definitely consider the Ford Endeavour.

  • Q. Is this car suitable for daily commuting - Alturas G4?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

Start driving and you feel the wave of torque kicking in smoothly and evenly, as early as around 1800rpm. If you maintain a light foot on the throttle, the engine gives you just enough power to tackle city commutes easily. There’s no sudden spike in power anywhere, and this is something you’d appreciate while driving in congested urban environments. In this scenario, the 7-speed automatic remains fairly inconspicuous in its operation. The Mahindra Alturas G4 is a good looking, feature packed SUV that’s appealing for a number of reasons. Whether it's the chunky key fob, the nice ‘thunk’ that the doors close with or wow features like ventilated seats and the smart automatic tailgate, there’s a lot going for the Alturas G4. It's not the enthusiast’s car by a long shot, but it still does a lot of things right.Read More: - Mahindra Alturas G4: First Drive Review: https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/mahindra-alturas-g4-first-drive-review/32365/

  • Q. Is it worth for money in resale also - Alturas G4?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 8 months ago

It would be too early to give any verdict here, as its resale value will depend on several factors like, physical condition, No. of owners, age of the car, KMs driven etc. Mahindra’s big boy doesn’t throw a tantrum for attention. It isn’t overstyled, and you see that the designers haven’t gone bonkers adding another line here and another crease there. We were told the Alturas G4 takes inspiration from Greece’s Parthenon temple, and that says a lot. By the virtue of its sheer size, it naturally commands respect. In the same breath, we think it doesn’t look angry or aggressive. If you were eyeing the Alturas as a big family road-tripper, or something that’d give you grins when you drive - the lure for the big Mahindra is limited. But, if you want nothing more than to make a statement and be pampered plenty when you’re inside the cabin, the Alturas G4 impresses.
