1.0 engine is better in terms of moderate power and best mileage than 1.2. In 1.2 more acceleration means more fuel loss and there is no remarkable increase in power especially in hills n steep hairpins while compared to 1litre. The 1l has spontaneous power in highways when crossing 60km/hr. Cost wise also cheaper and economical and we get the same big sized car without a single difference!!!!

The 1.0-litre engine is a 3-cylinder unit which generates 68PS/90Nm on the other hand the 1.2-litre engine is a 4-cylinder unit which offers 83PS/113Nm. The 1.2 litre engine feels way more punchier an agile than the 1.0 litre unit. Moreover, the Wagon R is a big car therefore the 4 cylinder unit with more power and better torque makes it ideal for quick acceleration.

As the name suggests, 1.2 ltr means more power for quick acceleration. but it will also increase petrol bill.
Yes, the boot space in petrol, as well as CNG version of Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, is the same, i.e, 341 litres. But, the usable space will be lesser than that of the petrol variant, because the CNG tank is fitted in the boot.

There is no boot space in CNG version. It occupies the entire bootspace. If you need to carry more you have to install a roofrack
Both cars are good to buy and have their own forte. If you’re looking for a frugal yet youthful family hatch, the i20 is still a viable option. On the other hand, WagonR continues to be a sensible practical hatchback. It’s now stronger, more feature loaded, more powerful and safer. Do take a test drive in order to pick one.
