    It's 3 cylinder engine so it should be bit noisy, but if you look into the other features, you can negotiate the noise bit. However, I didnt find any suspension issue.

  • Q. Q. I am Confused between Tata Nexon and Tiago NRG. 1) I have a lot of distance to be driven on a regular basis. Hence from mileage perspective which of the two is a better a option? 2) Is there an option for a factory fitted CNG cylinder/tank?     If u want more milage go for tiago, if u want more ground clearance, go for nexon, cng kit is not available till for both models and also no need a rear ac vent for both tiago n nexon

    The Tiago NRG shares its engines with the hatchback. There’s no change in output at 85PS/115Nm for the petrol and 70PS/140Nm for the diesel, but Tata claims to have tuned the motor to suit the character of the NRG. Notably, Tata Motors has also deleted the City/Eco drive modes which are on offer in the Tiago. Also, the NRG can be had with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The manufacturer has categorically ruled out the possibility of an AMT for the Tiago NRG. Being 3-cylinder units, both engines are quite noisy and vibrations can be felt inside the cabin. Diesel engine sounds coarse at high revs, which takes away from the driving experience.

    Tata Tiago NRG is a Hatchback car with the ride height of 180mm. It is only available in petrol and diesel fuel type.

    Yes, Tata Tiago NRG is worth to buy. Tata’s Tiago now has a rugged cousin. Called the ‘NRG’ (pronounced energy), the cross-hatch has an added dose of toughness that we expect. Changes on the outside include a reworked front bumper with a faux skid plate, some cladding along the side skirts and wheel arches, and some more on the rear bumper and hatch door. Tata has launched a cross-hatch version of the Tiago called the Tiago NRG. For that extra cash, you get 10mm of extra ground clearance, loads of matte black cladding all around, a few orange accents on the inside and the 5-inch touchscreen borrowed from the Tigor. Subtler additions come in the form of gloss black ORVMs, matte-black door handles, a blacked out roof and roof rails. The claimed ARAI mileage for the Tata Tiago NRG petrol is 24kmpl, and for the Tata, Tiago NRG diesel is 27kmpl. But before the final decisions suggest you take a test drive of the vehicle to understand the power and comfort better.

    Yes, it's a good car. I am the owner of NRG and I didnt feel any issue till date. It's mileage is good compared to other manufacturer's same segment cars, also the performance. Being a 3 cylinder engine, there is noise which is absolutely normal, but you can ignore the noise compared to the other features, TATA provides.

    I just bought Tiago NRG and found that Vibration is terrible in this car. 1st , 2nd and 3rd gear especially during uphill driving vibrate too much. From gear to food peg till steering wheel vibrate a lot.Im not so satisfied with the car even thought it has seating comfort, high ground clearance and good music system. I cannot recommend others to buy till TATA do something about this problem.

    It's 3 cylinder engine, so vibration should be present. But in NRG is less compared to the Tiago. You can go for either one, but NRG is recommended as per me. However, NRG may be out of production as it's a special edition and people are not liking it over xz+. so go for xz+

    If you are really looking forward for a safe car,I would not suggest swift because it has got only 1 or 2 stars at the global NCAP crash test. Go for tata instead with better safety features and better ride quality.

    If you are looking for safety just don't go for Swift or Swift desire , Maruti has reduced its metal sheet thickness from 1.5 mm to 1.3 mm, that why it becomes much lighter from its earlier versions.
