It depends on your requirement and car daily usage. If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.

  • Q. What is the overall experience of capture?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

Renault Captur is premium SUV from the French Automaker Renault which is offered in the price range of Rs 9.99-13.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The principal highlight of Renault Captur is its stylish demeanour which is unlike anything that we have witnessed on Indian roads. Slip inside the cabin and you will be delighted with quality and layout of the interiors. Dual-tone seats have their own charm and the same is true for the sporty Steering Wheel with mounted controls. In fact, interiors of Renault Captur have the feel of a cockpit which goes very well with the premium theme of the car. The Captur’s trump card is the dollop of style it brings to the table. It’s a likeable SUV, but you will need some time to warm up to it. If it had a little more space and been easier to drive inside the city, it would have been a no-brainer recommendation. Do take a test drive in order to judge your driving comfort.

  • Q. How is the performance, mileage and the maintenance cost - Captur?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 7 months ago

The ride and handling, although different from the Duster, the cabin transcends the scale used for the Duster and convincingly delivers a more upmarket and appealing experience. But, somehow, the simplicity and effectiveness of what the Captur can do and accommodate, blended with its aesthetic appeal, leaves an impression that lingers on. Under the hood Renault is offering a 1.5-litre H4K 106PS petrol engine and a 1.5 K9k 110PS diesel engine. One distinct difference we experienced was the way the Captur rode. There is an added layer of firmness that can be heard as a distinct “thunk” over some of the smaller imperfections. The upside of the suspension setup is that body roll is well controlled in the Captur. The claimed ARAI mileage for the Renault Captur petrol is 13 kmpl, and for the Renault Captur diesel is 20 kmp. Total estimated maintenance cost of diesel for 4 years for diesel is Rs. 22,015 and estimated maintenance cost of petrol for 4 years is Rs. 17,165.Moreover, do take the test drive of the car in order to experience the ease and comfort offered.Check the following link to locate the nearest dealership from your respective city: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers/Renault

  • Q. How is long term ownership of Captur in term of engine, fittings etc. did u like the Captur music system quality?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 4 months ago

The H4K 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine is way better in terms of turbo and power delivery than the 110PS DCi. The Captur has amazing drivability. If we talk about the mileage, we managed to receive 10.73kmpl in the city (expect this to drop to single digits in peak hour traffic) and 15.79kmpl on the highway. Moreover, the car has been enriched with a 2 din audio system from Renault with a rich quality. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive of the car to evaluate the car in terms of performance, comfort, features and build quality of the car.Click here for the dealership: https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers/Renault
