  • Q. How is XUV 500 petrol performance wise?
    Khalid
    Khalid | 8 months ago

When it comes to XUV 500 petrol, performances are not equal as you compare to other vehicles, well it consumes more petrol than the others. It all depends on how you drive. THE FACT IS IT CONSUMES A BIT MORE FUEL THEN THE OTHER SUV VEHICLES. In traffic areas it give the maximum mileage of 13 approx not more than that and in LONG DRIVES ON HIGHWAYS you get 16 km approx

I'm using the manual version of XUV. Driving at 100kmph on highway in average traffic conditions pushes the mileage upto 14+ and driving beyond 120+ then its 11.50

Present day cars are pretty good and it does not matter at all if your running hrs are less. First 3000 kms are for "running in" after that engine performance is best.

The XUV 500 AT AWD perform well on the highways as well as on the rough trails. The power dissipation in the AWD has been very linear and agile. The car has been balanced perfectly in regards to the wheel power. The car gets an automatic torque converter unit which performs well with great prefixed gear ratios. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive of the car to evaluate the car on the basis of features, performance and drive quality.Click here for the dealership : https://www.zigwheels.com/dealers/Mahindra
