  • Q. CNG can be installed in automatic I10?

Yes, you can get it fitted but in this case you have to compromise with power. Moreover, it is always recommended to get the CNG kit fitted from the authorized service center so that you can avail the warranty services as well. If you get it installed from some other sources, then it may hamper your warranty. On the other hand, please make sure that the CNG kit that you are installing is RTO approved to avoid future troublesome.

Yes you can but ideally if you're daily run more than 70km and weekend driving than you install otherwise need not to waist you money and boot space.

  • Q. Hello, I am planning to take car under 6 lakhs visited few showroom and sites my preferred fuel type is petrol. I have shortlisted grand i10,Maruti Celerio, Wagnor but i have heard that grand i10 is giving only 9-10 kms mileage can you please help me on this?

Gi10 petrol gives more than 12-13 km/L in city conditions with heavy traffic. On highways, it goes upto 16 km/l. I have got it. I would always prefer Gi10 over Celerio and WagonR due to safety concerns, at the sacrifice of 2-3 km mileage.

As per my experience, it gives around average of 10 KM for city area and gives 17 KMS for highway. Also with comfort zone GI10 gives very much comfortable and smooth drive. Also maintenance cost is not so much.

  • Q. Which engine is best Kappa or CRDi - Grand i10?

Age old prejudices and half baked information has ensured that vast majority of buyers opt for petrol engines. However the truth may surprise you.I own a "crdi" ( common rail diesel injection ) equiped Grandi10 for last 4.1/2 years ever since it's launch and I am all praise for it. Reasons are many. It is easier to drive in bumper to bumper traffic. It sips negligible fuel. It has 50% more pulling power than it's petrol counterpart. It is as refined and more silent than most engines I have come across. Even though my running is very low, I have not had any issues nor any regrets. Infact Hyundai diesel engines are probably the industry's best kept secret. If you can spend 1 lakh more on purchase, just go for it. You will love it.

Diesel engine in the i10 grand is state of the art. Meaning it is very silent and smooth and makes others think it is a petrol engine. However the advantage is torque (pulling power) which is 50% more than the petrol engine. Also higher is the economy because unlike the petrol engine, when you are stuck in traffic, it is running practically on pure air. If you can afford the 1 lac extra initial cost, you end up with a better car,
