  • Q. Among Dzire, Amaze and Aspire which is better in Petrol?

All above mentioned cars are good and have their own forte. Choosing one will depend on fuel type, brand preference, specific feature requirements etc. The Honda Amaze makes a pretty serious case for itself as THE choice for customers in the compact sedan segment. It’s unique design, spacious interiors, premium features, excellent ride-and-handling qualities and, very importantly, the brilliant diesel engine coupled to the equally brilliant first-in-segment CVT, make it highly attractive. Honda has also promised a premium ownership experience without the costs involved. While, Dzire don’t get any more polished than this. A spacious cabin, comfortable ride, feel-good features and a hassle-free ownership experience - the Dzire promises it all! On the other hand, The Ford Figo Aspire makes for a nice city commuter in its petrol guise and a great all-rounder in its diesel avatar. There are certain inconsistencies in quality both on the inside and out; but it isn’t a deal breaker in any manner. It’s a rare compact sedan that’s easy on the eyes and while it’s not a traditional Ford in terms of handling, it should be easy on the pocket in the real world too. The petrol engines are refined and will lap up the city commutes with ease. If ‘fun to drive’ is a must-have on your checklist for the next car, the diesel is the one for you. Overall, the Figo offers good driveability, a long list of features, a good set of USPs and in many ways, undercuts cars that cost a lot more. • Q. How is Ford Aspire, is it good to buy? What resale value can be expected for petrol or diesel variants?

    Zigwheels | 1 year ago

The Aspire is a good overall package of looks, features, safety and driving dynamics which are not easy to find in the segment. With the recent update, Ford has plugged all the gaps in the Aspire’s arsenal. The new petrol engine is almost as fun to drive as the diesel. It’s amongst the most value-for-money compact sedans on the market today. Ford Aspire offers comfortable ride quality gobbles up potholes and broken surfaces easily. Its clutch, steering and gear action is light that makes it super easy to drive inside the city. Talking about its petrol engine, it comes with 1.2 and 1.5-litre petrol engines. The 1.5-litre engine makes 123PS of power and 150Nm of torque but it’s available with the 6-speed AT gearbox only. The 2018 Ford Aspire facelift we drove had the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 96PS of max power and 120Nm of torque, which makes it one of the most powerful engines in its class. Although, it does need to be revved if you want to have fun, but the sweet spot lies just above 3000rpm that is not only approachable but also more forgiving on the consumption front. You only need to rev it all the way up to 6000rpm if you really intend to test the limits of the vehicle. At sedate speeds, it is equally well mannered and there is ample torque available to perform quick overtaking manoeuvres. Talking about the resale value it would be really hard to share any predicted value here. The value completely depends upon the factors like the year of manufacturing, kilometres the car is driven, what is the ownership of the car, the physical condition also play an important role in it. So to get a better word would request you to please visit the nearest authorized dealership so that you can get complete gist regarding the valuation of the car.Related read:2018 Ford Aspire: First Drive Review: https://www.zigwheels.com/reviews-advice/reviews/2018-ford-aspire-first-drive-review/32041/

No, Ford Aspire BS6 is not available with pre-fitted CNG kit. The CNG version is only available in the Aspire’s base-spec Ambiente and Trend Plus variants. Instead, the conversion will be done at authorised Ford dealerships across the country. The Ford Aspire CNG is powered by the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon series engine as the petrol-powered version. So, you can get it fitted with BS6 engine too.
