  • Q. Which one is better Etios top varient or Amaze top varient in petrol and diesel?.
    Zigwheels | 3 months ago

The comparison of the petrol or the diesel car depends on the distance you travel on an average. If you are travelling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day. As for the comparison of the Toyota Platinum Etios and Honda Amaze top model is considered. The Toyota Platinum Etios VX Limited Edition gets 6 speakers, Driver Side Auto Down, Rear Parcel Tray(New Design), Audio Control On Steering Wheel, Driver And Passenger Sunvisor(With Passenger Side Mirror), Wood Grain Finish On Door Armrest, Front Headrest Height Adjustable x2, Rear Headrest Removable. If you are looking for a car with more features and an automatic gearbox, Honda Amaze is the car for you. However, if you are looking for a car with an amazing engine which can last several kilometres if maintained properly with a Toyota Badging you can go for the Toyota Platinum EtiosClick here for the Comparision: https://www.zigwheels.com/compare-cars/honda-amaze-vs-toyota-etios

  • Q. Is Etios VD diesel worth the price?
    Zigwheels | 3 months ago

While the updates do make the Etios a more compelling package, the biggest talking point this time around is safety. Dual airbags and anti-lock brakes are now standard across the Etios range, which is a welcome move. It also gets ISOFIX mounts on the rear bench for the child seat. Toyota has gone a step ahead and reinforced the chassis; so it will fare better in a crash too as it scored a four-star rating in a crash test conducted by the Global NCAP. Yes, there's a lot missing on the feature list when you compare it to, say, an equivalently priced compact sedan. But, in exchange, you get a full-sized saloon that can accommodate five and their luggage, an efficient motor, and the backing of Toyota's fabled reliability. The selection here completely depends on one's choice and preference, do take the test drive of the car in order to clear all your doubts.
