BS6 is for manufacturers. They are allowed to sell only BS6 vehicles after April 2020. Consumers shouldn't be worried about it. The current engine is only good for driving on highways at an average speed of 50kms in order to get 15+ mileage. And there are other drawbacks in the vehicle which may or may not get fixed in the upcoming versions.

The new Renault Triber is designed to comply with BS4 norms, however, the engine would be upgraded before the BS6 norms are enforced from April 2020.
