Q. Is engine of Amaze at par of Dzire?

Yes This is regarding diesel Amaze variant It is superior in power 100 HP ..The Idtec engine is better in performance than DDIS engine . but in petrol version Both the engines are of 1200 cc only but honda Amaze delivers more HP than desire i.e 89HP but in Dzire it is 82HP only . Hence the Dizire diesel engine is not at par with Honda amaze similarly in petrol with respect to power generated. However it is to be noted that Dzire sales are than the sales of amaze. The new amaze is tough competitor to Dzire in this segment

Amaze is powered with 1.5litre,100PS 200NM torque, although cylinders even for dzire but dzire has a smaller engine 1.3 litre 75PS,190NM torque My advice is to go for dzire because amaze 2018 has many problems...

The comparison of amaze Vs for Dzire with respect engine is altogether a different one . The Idtec and Ivtec engines of Honda are rated as one of the best refined engines .. . They are reliable and better ones
