    1. steering handling is quite good its light (not very much) and precise its not even comparable to the old thar the wheel centers it self which the old one failed to do , its better at corner handling and parking...but i can say its safe not to expect the handling of a monocoque suv 2.the engine power is great you will never find performance lacking .its really good , torquey and refined its linear tho3.on road drive is fairly good the NVH is low and its well planted but every bump is preceptable , uneven roads those like on a rollercoaster, will be felt but the pothholes are well absorbed and less noticable4 yes its four wheel drive and really good offroad the only thing i have a complaint it the plastic protection for the raidiator but its fixable with a metal about 4k inr5.driving comfort is good but the steering is a bit heavy and the size of the vehicle is also to be kept in mind the clutch is light and gear shifts are easy the seats are comfortable and over all driving comfort is really good too

    Mahindra Thar is available with two engine options: a 130PS/300Nm 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 150PS/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. Both engines will be offered with a choice of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission, and will be offered with a 4x4 drivetrain with a low range transfer case as standard.     The safety in Mahindra Thar is very high with high score in the safety but gives body roll. The engine is refined and in the city it is very enjoyable and is a very different SUV and the feel of this car is excellent. It offers a lot in good pricing and is a very awsome car to drive and is a winner car from Mahindra but the comfort is not good in the rear seat. The cabin is noise free and i am using petrol engine and the ground clearance is outstanding and the handling is decent.
