Q. I have purchased a new XUV 300 on 07.07.2019. The cars clutch plate is totally burned on 28.07.2019 during driving at night . Now the company says for replacement of total set of clutch plate and costs around Rs 8000. I want to replace the car with another same car instead replacing clutch plate. How can i do it?

I am driving a car from past 10 years and I never use half clutch still I had a problem with my clutch and was burn out for driving only 14000 km and had to pay the total cost of the clutch which is very dissapointing

No it is not possible brother. I know the clutch plate of XUV300 is very light so you have to handel it with care . You have to pay for new clutch plate and avoid using half clutch.

My father also faced the same clutch plates issue. Useless car don't buy this. My father bought the new car and within 6 months clutch plates are changed twice as they are always getting melted due to heat. They charged 20000 per visit and it costed around 50000 extra for two times clutch plates change

I have XUV 300 W8 2020, serviced the vehicle 11 Feb 2022 not even run the vehicle 1500km clutch was burnt with bad smell and smoke in the engine and vehicle stoped immediately, in our family 11 XUV 300 is there we are facing problems we didn't get proper services and all vehicles we are AC problem

I also have XUV 300 bought in June23 and clutch plates are burnt and Mahindra asking to pay 34000 to fix it ....Is this really a joke or what? First we buy car of 14 lacs and then pay 34000 to them every 4 months....what a successfull and no loss business plan of Mahindra... Can you guys share what have you done to fix this without paying anything?Can we apply for car refund from the dealer?Or we can proceed with legal case against manufacturer if you all guys are with me.

I have 2019 model and 30000 driven.. have same problems with clutch. company charged me 35 thousand fr fixing it... :/

May I know how did you handle this situation ? Did you pay money for it to fix it ?

Same problem happened with me at 17000 kms. But mahindra people are insane, they don't even know how to talk to their customer.

Run just 120km and facing same issue.
