    I would recommend manual as implementation of AMT in budget cars are usually problematic in later years whether alto or kwid. Automatic makes sense with better cars CVT etc come in.

    A manual is advised if you need a great response from the engine. However if you plan on driving it sedately through extremely congested roads and traffic an AMT would be a better option

    Unless you do not have gear how would you drive.You need an auto to drive .Any thing as per your liking
