Selecting between the Renault Kwid and Tata Tiago would depend on your preference of the segment, powertrain, required features, budget, usage, etc. Tiago is powered by a single 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that churns out 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque making it one of the powerful cars in its segment. It can be had either with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. Tiago offers one of the most attractive designs at this price point and the 4-stars in Global NCAP speaks highly about safety. On the other hand, Kwid is offered with a choice of two petrol engines - a 54PS 0.8-litre unit and a 68PS 1.0-litre option. While the smaller unit is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the bigger engine can also be had with a 5-speed AMT. If your budget allows, we would suggest you to opt for the Tata Tiago for its attractive design, powerful engine, safety tech and its great build quality. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - Renault KWID vs Tata Tiago

I would say go for Tata Tiago. I test both Kwid and Tiago, and Tiago is definitely far better, strong and powerful.
