I am 68. Currently drive Honda city IVTEC. Been driving MT cars for 35 years. Do 10k kilometers per year mostly within city with 2 or 3 outstation trips per year. Planning to buy a compact SUV. Will DCT suit my requirements? Is it safe for hill driving? My budget is 12 lakhs but flexible. Which SUV would best suit my needs in both MT and DCT/ CVT?

As per your requirements, MT, DCT, CVT all are good to go. However, if you are an enthusiast driver and want a fun to drive car you may go for DCT. If you like smooth drive quality and often tackle heavy traffic CVT would be a great pick. If you want better command over the car, you may go for MT car.
