I personally owned a Celerio since 6 month. After driving for 6 month my thinking have changed about Celerio. It is a good 'city car' not for highways. After sometime you feel that car's power is not adequate.I have tested it on hilly roads. Its transmission gets too hot whenever you climb hill.I got warning light as well. And also in city you have to pick car in higher acceleration. If you want petrol only than go for wagonr or else my suggestion would be to increase budget and go for dzire.Try not to buy hatchback I have experienced it it hell lot of dirt at the back.you have to clean it daily.

Maruti Celerio is a good entry level Hatchback car. However, if you're eyeing on Celerio then we would suggest you have a look on Maruti Celerio X as it is reliable, isn’t expensive to maintain and fulfils your need of a hatke looking hatch. Coming to another query, Maruti Celerio comes mated with AMT in its 4 variants - Celerio AMT VXI, Celerio AMT VXI Optional, Celerio AMT ZXI, Celerio AMT ZXI Optional.

Celerio gives excellent average. In city and highways driving has no serious problems. The car is a saloon type height, length n width judt adequate for entry level. With Maruti maintenance is negligible. I have owned ot for four years. No major problems. One can have it for life. However, new models and features would keep coming. If one has no fascination for fsncy n bigger cars Celerio is not bad.

These statistics are based on my usage of my car - Celerio VXI CNG - for the past four years:(1): Within the city - 27-28 Kmpl (2): Highway driving : Speed restricted at 100kmph : 30-32kmpl.

Yes, I also feel less power. After driving Santro Xing for 10 years I can say confidently that Celerio lacks in power and one has to change gears frequently. The power and mileage further go down with ac on.

It has a decent mileage of an average 20 kmpl and is smooth at 100 kmph in highway if you take the AMT version
