    I find some of these questions difficult ,first of all the Kwid has been on the market for less than 4 years. The engine life of any car depends on how you drive it. If you ill treat your car it will wear out quicker than if you treat it gently. and Stick tco the maintenance and services as scheduled in the owners manual. Frequent oil changes are most important in prolonging the life of your engine with care your engine will give you 100 000 kms plus, I had one Renault in UK which had done more than 130,000 MILES not Kms and still started first time and gave good performance and fuel economy. do what is suggested in this answer, forget your worries and enjoy your vehicle,

    Engine life depends upon your riding style.Renault 800cc engine provides smooth riding experience and has low pick up speed from 2nd to 3rd gear. The engine is noisy from the outside compared to other 800cc manufacturer engines. For the past 3 years I have not faced any engine issue yet
