  • I do accept that honda is a good company too and as mentioned on price part don't you think you need more piece of mind and top most safety inside and outside the car as a part. They have given ABS, EBD, BA and with 100000 km for 3 years of standard warranty which ever is earlier more. Over 7 airbags provide standard across all varieties HSEA IR cut glasses are been provided. Better AC performance, lower nvh concerns, what else features you need while driving a car with piece of mind the lowest periodic maintenance cost compared to any of the competitors and Yaris got 5* cap ratings just check it out onceI do accept that honda is a good company too and as mentioned on price part don't you think you need more piece of mind and top most safety inside and outside the car as a part. • The Yaris isn’t a mass-pleaser. It will appeal to those who appreciate nuances like a sure-footed ride, and low NVH over gimmicks such as LED headlamps and sunroofs. If you needed a petrol sedan that will outlast you, your search ends here. On the other hand, the City continues to be the most desirable sedan in this lot. It’s got the looks, the tech and more importantly - that oh-so-illustrious ‘H’ badge on the grille. It’s fun to drive, and has enough space to shame cars from a segment above. Looking for a big car experience? Q. Is It available in diesel version if yes then what is the price and specification - Yaris?
  • The diesel engine Toyota employs won't meet stricter emission norms that come into effect in 2020. It doesn't make sense to offer a diesel for a short time frame of ~ 1.5 years. Hence, the Yaris is petrol only for now. Also, Toyota believes that most midsize sedan buyers opt for petrol variants, and hence the Yaris is only a petrol-only model. However, there are countless buyers still looking to purchase a diesel even if they don’t have the running to justify the premium cost and servicing attached with oil-burners. That’s because diesel engines pack a punch when it comes to performance, and rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Rapid and the Volkswagen Vento do offer something to enthusiasts that the Yaris misses out on with its sedate petrol engine.

Q. How is the performance of Toyota Yaris , Its Mileage , and which is the value for money variant.?
  • The car has multiple issues and both the dealer & Toyota Kirloskar are unable to fix them. I am an unhappy Toyota Customer. The only good thing about the car is its inexpensive service.Issue #1-> Dull lethargic drive and slow pickup. Always feels underpowered. Not at all an exciting drive. Switching on the air-conditioning takes significant power away.Issue #2-> High cabin noise and vibrations. The engine gets uncomfortably noisy at RPMs over 4000.Issue #3-> Manufacturing defects and weak ergonomics. Rear wheel arches are missing an inside fender cover (Like that of Maruti Baleno OR that of the Camry). This transmits high road & tyre noise & vibration inside the cabin. Takes a toll on driving comfort.-> Driver armrest & Door armrest is placed in an inappropriate position. Driver armrest placement is an obstruction for the rear passengers. -> Poor plastic quality. -> Poorly positioned steering wheel. The steering wheel feels tad bit bigger to operateIssue #4-> Customer experience and service lapses. (With Espirit Toyota, Noida)-> On the first service visit, the dealership spent an entire day on the first 1000km inspection check. -> On the second service, same experience. Even though I was booked an appointment, I still had to wait the entire day for the service job.-> The dealership also denied E60 service by saying that it is done only for cars like Corolla & Innova. I have the call recording as well for this fraudulent statement.
  • It is a great city car to drive or to be driven in. Throttle response is smooth and very predictable. The performance is flat throughout the rev range and while it won’t please the enthusiast in you, most drivers won’t find a reason to complain. If you do choose to go flat out, be prepared to wait for quite a while before it clocks 100kmph. It takes a yawn-inducing 13.39 seconds to get there, which is the slowest compared to its peers. For reference, the Verna automatic takes 12.04 seconds to get to 100kmph, and the City is quicker still with a 11.90 second time. Drive it in a relaxed manner and the Yaris will return the favour by keeping your wallet happy. The CVT we had on test delivered a stellar 16.41kmpl inside the city. That’s not a typo, it actually managed to match its highway mileage number. That’s down to the fact that the Yaris is usually in its “Eco” mode at city speeds, with the tacho ticking slightly over idle. Yaris has a ride height of 160 mm.
  • Yaris is performing well, my vehicle has run 20000+ kilometres. it's giving average mileage of 15 to 16 km per litre. car runs very smooth. in the matter of sudden pick up it is less compared to turbo powered diesel engines. service cost till now was only Rs1500 at 10000 and 20000kms. both were free services,i have to see how much it would be at 30000kms.overall performance is ver satisfactory.
