Q. Can we install GPS navigation system in GX 7S model - Innova Crysta?
  • Issues with navigation in my crysta from the time i have given my car on the second service. They said to remove the car card and install it after the service is done . I installed it , where that has never shown me the map again on the screen . I visited to the service center they were like your chip has got damaged where it is totally in a perfect condition. Now they ask me to replace the chip where it costs 9000 to 12000 with a new software built in . Where its not not worth of 12k So my doubt is !! can we customise it out of the service center (out side ) ????

  • Toyota Innova Crysta is a brilliant three-row MPV with multiple engine options and loads of features to offer. As you are looking for exchange, we would suggest you to connect with the nearest authorized dealership as the offers may vary. Also, if you are considering taking a car loan, feel free to ask for quotes from multiple banks from the dealership itself. A lot of banks and lending authorities have tie-ups with dealers to offer you easy loan. Or, you can check with your own trusted bank and authorities in case they have a better loan plan to offer. Also, if you are planning to buy a new car on finance, then generally, 20 to 25 percent down payment is required on the ex-showroom price of a car. However, exact confirmation regarding EMI, down payment, interest, loan period and its procedure will be discussed by the bank only, as it depends upon an individual eligibility. Q. Hi, Which is the best variant in Innova?
  • All the variants are same as per the specifications concern but it differs from the features and extra accessories. You can go with basic model and install the accessories from third party or buy from online and get it fixed with workshop much cheaper than the Showroom price , by doing so , u can save lotta money on it , instead buy As default. So think wisely and select your car .Basic model in auto diesel : GX7 2.8Basic model in manual petrol:GX7 2.4. But still , if u have any questions, check with the nearest dealer to find out .
  • Crysta has 3 variants with 2 engine options if u want manual u can go for "v" it is the second variant and has almost the same features as that of z. If u are looking for automatic variant u can probably go for "g" or "z" as both the variants have aut transmission option.
  • If you're opting for the manual and you're on a budget get the 2.4 V trim. Its the most value for money variant. In the automatic the 2.8 Z trim is the top trim but has some more features over the v trim.So if you are not on a budget you can get the z

Q. Which one is better xuv 500 or innova crysta?
  • As a car, the Crysta is way better in terms of drive quality, power, space and finishing. But it comes at a almost 3-5 lac dearer price tag. Crysta will also get you better second hand price post 3-5 years of ownership.... BUT.... nothing like the road presence of an XUV500. I have been following the car since its launch in 2012 but only now I feel like Mahindra got its drive quality right. XUV500 is super loaded in terms of features and cost a whole 3-5 lacs less at comparable models.. how I decided between the two was... when i get off the vehicle and hand the key to the valet guy.. the valet should love taking care of my beautiful car.. and you can make an Innova as premium as you want, the valet will always drive it like a van!
  • Xuv500 bro its features and safety and its looks bro i had a accident with my xuv a innova came at 40 to 50 kmph and crashed its front end into xuv500 backend and the xuv had minemal damage innova had some major damage front end was gone radiator was leaking and bumper and headlight was like gone only and the xuv also had a shelid behind but it directly at the bumper it had some scratches and one of the number plate lights fell but much part hit on the bumper and trunk
  • First of all thats a wrong conparison. First you should decide on, whether you want a mpv or suv. Crysta is an mpv and xuv is suv. Capabilities are totally different. Regarding performance, offroading and anywhere go xuv leads. Being a monocoque it offers a decent ride quality also. But second row ride is better with crysta than xuv. Crysta is a for overall comfort(all rows). In terms of safety, both are almost equal, but xuv is more tough and stable on road and offroad.. Mileage also, xuv leads by some 2kmpl or so. Engine life, both are heavy duty engines. Both have a similar maintenance cost too..Now, regarding resale value, crysta has got more resale value than xuv, thanks to toyota brand name.

Crysta. It is too damn expensive but i liked it.Travelled in 2.4gx and 2.4zx.It feels so comfortable except for 3rd row seats which pains for adult. It is okay but not good, Replace the middle row head rest with smaller headrest(in height, Used in older innovas, Aftermarket ) so it gives a better view of front rather than just seeing the back of the headrest entire journey for those sitting in 3rd row seat. Its brakes are very effective and runs like a leopard on highways on power mode. It's so comfortable sometimes it made me feel lazy in it.It's a bit of a task to drive it in cities but there's a solution, Many people have fit external mirrors on the left end part on the good of crysta, Some have even fit those on both ends, Which gave a clear view and a lot better judgement than before and since then it's easy to drive in cities.Car drives very smoothly and less claustrophobic as compared to ertiga and innova (discontinued model) and xuv500.Mileage got on 2.4 variants is 14 sometimes 13.5 kmpl on highways and in city it gave around 11.Crysta has a better ground clearance than innova.Just because of its soft suspensions it's not advisable to drive roughly on broken roads unlike scorpio or bolero or qualis or tavera or old innova. For rough usage you need to harden it's suspensions.Thats my experience on crysta.:-d.

While running back to Trivandrum from Velankanni, on 2-6-19 morning the right rear tyre blast on East cost high way which is a very smooth and clean road. The tyre is 16" Apollo make. My vehicle has completed below 8000 km and purchased in July 2017. At the time of purchase I have pointed out the tyre blast issue of Crysta and the company people told that it was because of 17" tyre and they have modified the same with 16" and the issue was resolved. However, Crysta is still showing the tyre blast problem. The tyre was with correct air pressure and looks like new. The road was very clean and the driving speed was 100-110km/ hr. I am very much convinced that it was not because of any external factors like stone, nail, rough road etc. The company service people inspected the tyre and sent the photos to Apollo's opinion. Now Apollo says a diplomatic answer that it is happened due to the running with low tyre pressure ! I am a Scientist Engineer1working in ISRO Trivandrum. Still, the blasted tyre is with Toyota and waiting for their decision.

I bought Toyota Innova Crysta 2.8G On 20 August 2018 from Globe Toyota Kaithal (HR) after ten days a new model of Innova was launched and discontinued that model which is given to me. Innova which is given to me is absolete within 10days. And as we know old models are sold to customers on discounted prices but globe Toyota Kaithal did a fraud with me they sold me old model at full prices .Today I went to globe Toyota at 12 30 pm all the staff members were there I talked about my problems the manager Sushil Kumar told me come to me 4 pm I said ok I went there and he didn’t gave me response and he even dint listen to my problem he misbehaved with me . These people are so pathetic in fact I think they are not educated they don’t know how to talk to their Consumer. I am so surprised to see people who are running Toyota’s agency.

Awesome car very comfortable for riding log drive with our family.Interior of car is Fabulous, Awesome very informative and dashing .Overall exterior look of car is eye-catching ❣️.Only tire size is slightly small for off road riding.I got mileage 12kmpl and on road long drive I have 13 to 14 kmpl mileage it's very very good.

unlike the older Vehicles , Crysta ownership has been far from hassle free. That doesn"t mean its a bad car, it"s fun to drive and the engine is zippy. There are some niggles and the parts are a little on the expensive side. Eg; The tires are expensive - one costs about 10-11k , also Toyota could have added more features like LED brake lamps, auto dimming IRVM, Rain sensing wipers, 360 deg camera (available as an 24,000/- option). over all a great car. Safety is 1st as it has 7 Airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, ESP, traction control, Hill hold assist. Brakes do a fabulous job of stopping the 1.8 ton vehicle.
