The Tata Safari Dicor is a legacy product in the company's portfolio who's popularity amongst Tata loyalists refuses to die down. But the company has had to remove features from the Dicor range to help its modern avatar, the Storme, attract more customers - the most important of which is the sift-on-the-fly 4x4 drivetrain. Available in only two 4x2 variants, the Tata Safari Dicor is priced between Rs 9.75 lakh and Rs 11 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi.
The Tata Safari Dicor is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel motor with common rail direct injection and a variable valve turbocharger developing 140PS/320Nm, with an ARAI-certified fuel-efficiency of 11.57kmpl.
