Bit jerky at low speeds
Tata nexon is a bit jerky at low speeds too, Especially in eco mode. The 110hp, 1.5-litre diesel has a wider breadth of abilities. It’s refined and pulls well from low speeds, but again, doesn’t excite. The nexon’s manual gearboxes come allied to well-weighted clutches. Both petrol- and diesel-amts are fine for average town use but fumble in on-off throttle applications. The diesel nexon’s amt unit is more in sync with the engine’s characteristics.

I drive a Tata Nexon Petrol
I drive a tata nexon petrol xma variant - 2020 model. It is a pleasure to drive, Premium vehicle. The power steering and ride handling is absolute pleasure. It has an unmatched ground clearance apt for indian roads.Performance is smooth in city mode and absolutely dashing in sports mode.Has good leg space in second row and a huge boot space. The four pillars are the major draw back of the vehicle. You never see incoming vehicles while cornering due to the front pillars. Its also difficult to see traffic coming from behind while trying to cross the opposite lane looking behind due to the wide back pillar.People with above average body will face difficulty in driver seat during long rides. The vehicle performance is great.Fast gear changing in eco mode, Balance ride with good pickup enough for quick overtakes in city mode and sports mode will definitely bring a smile for any driving enthusiasts. The nexon gives an average mileage of 13 kmpl in city conditions and above 17 kmpl in highways in city mode. The best feature of the nexon is its body and build quality, Which will put the suzuki ones to shame. The doors and bonet are heavy and strong which will definitely keep its passengers safe from any crashes. The body roll over is minimum. The quality suspension promises a comfort drive to its passengers in any road conditions. The fully digital instrument cluster will give all and any information on the vehicle. The built in infotainment systems and speakers are of great quality that you won't have to think of installing a custom one later.Plastics used inside the nexon is of premium quality and designs.Same is to be said about the fabrics for seats.Tata dealers has come a long way in providing satisfactory after sales service. They have improved a lot and really developed the network of dealership and service points. The nexon is worth every penny. The low maintenance costs and durability of the vehicle and its components gives peace of mind to its customers.

- The Nexon was known for its high-speed stability and that continues to be the case even now. It’s quite predictable in corners as well, giving it a surefootedness that everyone will appreciate. This allows you to push the Nexon to its limit, and even younger, lesser experienced drivers will be able to enjoy this feeling while staying and feeling relatively safe. The steering is light enough for city use but weighs up well at highway speeds. Body roll too isn’t all that prominent, so you don’t end up praying for dear life in the middle of a corner. The ride quality, though slightly stiffer than before, can still match up with the best in the segment. - From switching to renewable and reusable materials to cleaner means of transport, switching to an electric vehicle for next-to-zero emissions seems like a good idea too. Converting to electric mobility is about more than buying an EV. An electric powertrain offers immediate throttle response and the surge of undelayed torque makes it easier to overtake other vehicles on the road. EVs also offer a more serene experience as the electric powertrain is virtually silent, especially when compared to the distinct clatter of a diesel-powered car. Currently, long-range EVs carry a slightly premium price tag, but the government is already offering various benefits to make them more affordable. These would also offer savings in terms of energy costs as electricity is a lot less expensive than fossil fuels like petrol and diesel. For the early adopters, new EV offerings will be feature-loaded with extensive warranties for a wholesome ownership experience.
- If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you opt for Automatic Transmission which is easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved
- It will only come in xz+S and XZ+O variant
- Yes, Tata Nexon features cruise control.

- Tata is planning to launch CNG-powered cars by FY 2022. CNG kits will be factory-fitted. Tiago, Altroz, and Tigor are expected to come with the green fuel option. All three use the same 86PS 1.2-liter petrol engine. CNG variants will see a minor reduction in power and be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. In a recent interview with IANS, Shailesh Chandra, President of the Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle section, confirmed that the carmaker will equip select models with factory-fitted CNG kits by FY 2021-2022. While there hasn’t been any official word on the models to get the CNG option, we reckon it would be the Tiago, Tigor, and Altroz. And if our guess is correct, the Altroz will then come with three fuel options -- petrol, diesel, and CNG. All three models use the same 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. However, with the CNG variant, power figures will drop slightly while fuel efficiency is likely to be around 30 km/kg. A 5-speed manual will be the only transmission on offer. The CNG variants could cost Rs 50,000 more than the corresponding ICE-powered vehicles. Chances are, only the base and mid-spec variants will get the CNG option, as seen in other cars. With this, Tata will be the third manufacturer to offer CNG-powered cars, after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. Currently, there are around 10 CNG cars in India, including the Maruti Ertiga, WagonR, Alto, Celerio, S-Presso, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Santro, and Aura. However, other manufacturers are also considering the possibility of adding CNG to their list of fuel options. Stay tuned.

- Both the cars are good in their own forte and are from different segment. Honda City 4th generation is still the same comfortable, reliable, spacious and easy to own car as before. Honda has almost perfected the City’s positioning as a great all-rounder. The City’s interior space and build quality is good. In fact, it is comparable with even some D-segment sedans. On the other hand, the Nexon does have a couple of aces up its sleeve. The ride quality, though slightly stiffer than before, can still match up with the best in the segment. Its sure-footed mannerisms mean that it makes you feel safe and its biggest ace is the rear seat experience, which can easily be termed amongst the best in the segment. It looks better, feels more premium on the inside and now has a feature list to walk shoulder to shoulder with much of the competition. - Reasons to buy the Nexon: its 5-star safety, ride comfort, sound system, rear-seat space, and value for money mid variants. Where the Nexon fails to impress is its powertrain and the cabin practicality. The petrol engine, though powerful, feels less refined and isn't happy to be pushed. Also, Nexon is offering an AMT automatic at this price point, where the competition is offering torque converters or even DCTs. The cabin storage for everyday items is still lacking. And the new steering and instrument cluster are unable to better the driver's experience. Overall, though it is a better Nexon, it fails to hit it out of the park. So if you are looking for a car, that you will be driving often, we suggest you look elsewhere. But, if you are going to be driven around most of the time and will usually be taking up the back seat, the Nexon makes a great case for itself. - Selecting between Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Honda WR-V would depend on certain factors such as budget, preference of the fuel type, features required, preference of the brand, etc. Ford EcoSport could be a better option if you prefer drivability and handling abilities over features. The EcoSport offers brilliant handling traits and is one of the most fun to SUVs. If you’re going to be spending most of your time behind the wheel, the EcoSport is the sub-4 meter SUV to go for. The EcoSport, with its tight handling, ensures that it’s one of the most fun-to-drive SUVs in the segment. If we talk about Honda WR-V, the engine, though not the most exciting, offers enough grunt on highway journeys, and the suspension feels at home when there are multiple people on board. The storage space is enough that it will easily swallow luggage of four on a weekend getaway. And all of that quite simply maintaining the status quo for the WR-V. Go for it if space is your number one priority. Whereas, the Venue is a perfect balance of size, features, and machinery in its segment. It might not wow you in any particular manner, but it feels just right. So, if you are looking for a fun to drive a car with a great interior car and occasionally go for long drives too. If we talk about Mahindra XUV300, it would be a better pick if you are eyeing a stylish SUV with an extensive list of features, comfortable ride quality, and a great safety package. - The Nexon BS6 is powered by 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with the turbo petrol now more powerful producing 120PS and 170Nm of torque. The engine revs a lot more linearly than before, but it continues to feel dull at its bottom-end. Then when the turbo comes in, you don’t get that outright turbo punch but there is good pull in the mid-range before the engine starts running out of breath at the top-end. At that point, it makes more noise than power. - Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase.Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, the petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

An aspect where not just the Sonet but Kia themselves as a manufacturer needs to prove their long-term reliability and dependability. The Sonet is ticking all the right boxes otherwise. It’s delivering on the wow factor with pukka mini-SUV looks, quality interiors, and a feature list that’d make you question paying a premium for larger SUVs. It’s being sensible and practical too, with loads of cubby holes and a large boot. You get proper automatics, and the engines on offer cover a wide range of usage. If we talk about Hyundai Venue, it shares a lot with Sonet, features, and powertrain. Over Sonet, Venue would be more comfortable for rear passengers and it has an advantage of a wide service network oh Hyundai. Over Venue, Sonet offers better looks and ride quality. The Tata Nexon, with the facelift, has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine, and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. If your safety is for priority and wants a spacious car especially for rear passengers. You may go for Tata Nexon. On the other hand, if you are willing to sacrifice space for better drivability and better engine options, then you may opt for the EcoSport. The EcoSport, with its tight handling, ensures that it’s one of the most fun-to-drive SUVs in the segment. And the final on the package are the engines, which have just the right amount of punch to keep you grinning. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. - Tata Nexon offers a good ride quality with sure-footed mannerism. The setup is a tad bit firmer than before and coarse surfaces such as concrete can be felt inside the cabin, but not enough to cause discomfort. - Xz and above variant
- Tata Nexon is only available with front wheel drive type.
- Selecting a perfect car depends on various factors such as budget, preference of the brand, maintenance costs, ride quality, features required, etc. If we talk about Volkswagen Polo, it offers a very relaxed drive experience on the highway as well. The cabin, while missing some essential features and rear space, definitely offers the best in class build quality and insulation. The only other thing that will initially bother you is the less refined engine and the crude engine note it brings with it. If you value build, drive experience, and ride over feature gimmicks and are willing to sacrifice on space, the Polo would be a good fit for you. On the other hand, the Tata Nexon has made a lot of improvements in this facelift. It looks better, feels more premium on the inside, and now has a feature list to walk shoulder to shoulder with much of the competition. Reasons to buy the Nexon however remain the same: its 5-star safety, ride comfort, sound system, rear-seat space, and value for money mid variants. Minor bugbears aside, the Nexon continues to be a sensible small SUV for the family. It does become the default choice if you want space for five and their luggage, and a comfortable ride. However, if it's polished and the latest tech you're after, the Nexon might feel a little rough around the edges. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- Go for any other brand than Tata because they still have plenty of quality issues . You pay 12 lakhs and they give you a substandard product that too in the name of safety. - The WR-V has the ingredients to make it the best crossover hatchback in the segment but falls short because of a soft suspension and poorly designed rear seats. However, if cabin space is your priority and want an easy to handle car for city commutes with a refined engine, you may go for Honda WR-V. On the other hand, the Nexon does have a couple of aces up its sleeve. The ride quality, though slightly stiffer than before, can still match up with the best in the segment. It’s sure-footed mannerisms mean that it makes you feel safe and its biggest ace is the rear seat experience, which can easily be termed amongst the best in the segment. So if you are looking for a car, that you will be driving often, we suggest you look elsewhere. But, if you are going to be driven around most of the time and will usually be taking up the back seat, the Nexon makes a great case for itself. however, the ergonomic issues, which put a dent in the Nexon’s reputation, are not only still there but have been added to. - Tata Nexon gets an updated 1.2-litre petrol motor that churns out 10 more horsepower. The engine revs a lot more linearly than before, but it continues to feel dull at its bottom-end. Then when the turbo comes in, you don’t get that outright turbo-punch but there is good pull in the mid-range, before the engine starts running out of breath at the top-end. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and driving traits. - It will be visible if you have already driven a car of higher capacity like1500 turbo or NA 4 cylinder engine. For those who are upgrading from 1k engine it's actually not that visible. For better understanding I suggest you to take a test drive of Nexon petrol and drive it on both City and eco modes.
- As Nexon gets a 3-cylinder petrol engine, it is naturally not refined as compared to a 4-cylinder engine. However, you may reduce some of its vibrations by using aftermarket insulating peddling for its vibrating parts.
- II often get very high performance from my cars with the following practices: Tyre pressure +1 to +2 PSI as per recommended ratingNot to highly accelerate and do hard braking frequentlymonitor consumption on DIGITAL Gaugealways get the tank filled from same station and machine from empty indication to auto cut fullservicing at a specified intervalair filter cleaning at every 5000kmcar should not be handled by many driversi get better Mileage and control on Michelin energy tyres as compared to ceat/Bridgestone/Dunlop etcdonot change tyre size and Rims as company fitted are best suited
- In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your car, there are some points that you can keep in mind while driving such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your car, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the car unnecessarily, drive your car at economical speeds, etc. For more details, you may check out the following article: Driving tips to improve mileage.

- Selecting between the automatic and manual transmission depends on certain factors such as driving conditions, drive preference, budget, maintenance costs, etc. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive, more involved & are more fun to drive on highways. - Tata Nexon is not available with a 1500cc petrol engine. Instead, it gets a 1.2-litre (1199 cc) turbo petrol and 1.5-litre (1497 cc) diesel engine with the turbo petrol now more powerful producing 120PS and 170Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 110PS of power and 260Nm.
- Selecting between the Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz would depend on your preference of the segment and your budget. If you want a premium hatchback with a long feature list, sharp looks, and a comfortable ride but at a comparatively lesser price range then the Altroz would be a better pick. The Altroz rivals with the like of Hyundai i20, Maruti Baleno, Volkswagen Polo, etc. On the other hand, The Nexon has the ingredients to make it the best compact SUV in the segment but falls short because of lesser cabin space compared to other compact SUVs. Still, with its light controls and great seating position makes city driving easy and its tough build quality gives confidence on the highway to drive happily. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it feasible purchase. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired - Car Showrooms..Read More: Nexon VS Altroz.

- Yes, you may opt for an automatic transmission if you are looking for ease of driving and do not want to feel exhausted after a long heavy traffic drive. Every one of us knows that traffic is becoming an ever increasing pain. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver. It offers a spacious cabin, brilliant ride quality, and a refined 1.5-litre petrol with smart hybrid tech. The S-Cross is really smooth to pick up from standstill and the gear changes, though noticeable, are seamless and won’t let you complain if you are looking to commute or cruise. - Both Tata Nexon and Maruti Wagon R offer a spacious cabin that can accommodate 5 people with ease. In the case of the Nexon, we suggest you step aside and let someone else take the driver’s seat. That’s because most of the joy the Nexon has to offer can be felt on that rear bench. It's wide enough to fit three abreast reasonably well. On the other hand, the increase in exterior dimensions and wheelbase of new Maruti Wagon R has led to a even spacious cabin and there is ample headroom and legroom on offer. There’s also space under the front seat for the rear passenger to rest his/her feet comfortably, and that adds to the leg space. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- The Thar has undoubtedly widened its repertoire, and thus, its appeal. It is by no means the first car for most families. But it could wean its way up to becoming the third car in a household and in some cases even the second. The point is, the Thar’s appeal is now matched by a package that won’t be dismissed as impractical by most people off-hand. Earlier, buyers had to mould themselves into the Thar lifestyle. The new generation Thar shows it has tried to adapt to yours. The Tata Nexon, with the facelift, has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. It would be a good option if you often drive with your family and looking for a spacious car. Also its higher ground clearance helps to tackle bad road conditions and it offers good safety too. Mahindra’s XUV300 is easily the brand’s best sub-4 metre SUV yet. It’s got the style and the substance to make your heart want it, but your head might think otherwise looking at the space on offer. If you are looking for a fun to drive car and want comfortable ride quality, It would be a great pick. Also it is the safest car at its price and in its segment. You may compare all these cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

- How much does it cost?
- Creta E Petrol is best car more than Nexon Xe

- Between these three, i would suggest only nexon. brezza is outdated and underpowered, misses lot of equipment. xuv300 is very much overpriced for what it offers, and also forget about the bootspace. if you can live with a slight high NVH petrol, then nexon is the best among three

- Selecting the best option would depend on certain factors such as budget, preference of the fuel type, features required, preference of the brand, etc. Nexon comes equipped with gizmos like sunroof, cruise control, and connected car tech, making it good bang for your buck. And if safety is one your top priorities, the Tata Nexon should be on the top of your priority list. The XUV300 is one of the pricier SUVs in its segment. But it justifies that with premium features such as dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors, and up to seven airbags. Kia Sonet on the other hand offers a brilliant blend of features and design. It has everything up its sleeve and will surely woo you with its lengthy feature list, design and a wide range of variants and powertrain options. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive for a better understanding of comfort, features, drivability and compatibility. - Tata dealers are so worst. I booked my nexon on 14th dec but still there is no update from Sagar Motor, Delhi. Even I went to showroom so many times and everytime they have no idea about when car will be allocated. Even I register a complaint against dealer. But Tata customer care service is also worst. They didn't take any action. No matter car is good or bad. Important thing is customer service which totally worst from tata. I think they should stop selling car when they can't provide proper service to customer or if they want to save their company then please cancel dealership of such dealers like Sagar motor.
- Tata dealership is so worst. - Tata Nexon is not available with LED headlamps. The SUV gets Projector headlamps with tri-arrow LED DRLs.
- Not only XM , i think TATA cars still have several issues in quality , fit and finish. My 2020 nexon started developing rust in all four door panels near the handles and Tata is just repainting it . any other reputed brand would have done a replacement. Also other issues like oil leak , fan vibration etc. Don't buy , stay away from all these online propaganda about Tata car's perceived quality over others . Tata is the old tata. Stay away
- New Nexon 2022. Oil leakage issue... Very much disappointment.. fake promotions and advertisement.. people buy for 5* but in reality these kind of oil leakage in new car is totally unacceptable... I give zero star...
- As of now, we haven't encountered any sorts of issue with the Tata Nexon. Stay tuned for further updates.

- Comfort, Saftey and performace (sports mode).....all you have is in Nexon. I was too confused between XUV300, Sonet, Nexon...and finally settled on Nexon since i do long drives like delhi to ladhak, delhi to goa, kerala.....it is also good for city drive and plus it comes with 3 driving modes....economy for mileage, sports for power and prefrmance, and city mode. Breeza and venue are actually looks like segment below than xuv 300, nexon and sonet
- If petrol then only sonet, nexon is neither smooth, nor does it have good mileage. if diesel manual go for nexon and automatic sonet
- There is absolutely no news on Altroz DCT and Nexon DCT. The AMT option is no good and okay for cheaper cars. Wonder what is stopping Tata from launching it. It has been a long wait. Also can they add disk brakes on rare wheels of Harrier.
- As of now, there is no official update available regarding a new automatic transmission for the Nexon. The SUV gets a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel unit and both gets a 6-speed AMT as automatic.
- Nexon with DCT would be great. But the launch has been lingering? Please share some information. Y is everyone so tight lipped and Tata holding back such an important feature. AMT is not good at all.

For a bit off-roading the SCross will be having ground clearance issues. Also the arrival angle and departure angle of the SCross is low when compared with a Brezza or Ecosport. SCross is definitely a nice family car.
- Nexon for safety
- Tata Nexon comes across as one of the safest SUVs available in India. Nexon features impressive build quality and a strong safety package. The Nexon scored a 5-star rating in the Global N-CAP crash tests, while other safety features include dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), etc.
- Safest car
- 5 star global ncap
- Tata has added the sunroof to the second-to-base XM trim with the launch of the XM (S) variant priced from Rs 8.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). However, for the availability, we would suggest you to please connect with the nearest authorized dealership in your city as it depends on their stock book. - Selecting a car between the Mahindra Bolero and Tata Nexon would depend on your preference of features, comfort and drivability. If you are looking for a more stylish SUV with a good amount of features, amazing built quality, and a strong safety package, then the Nexon would be a better option. Whereas, if you want a SUV with more seating capacity, basic required features and a reliable power mill, then you may opt for the Bolero. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link for dealership details. - Actually go with Nexon because Bolero is not a family comfort car it's basically a high end using vehicle.. Nexon have More comfort more features and safety.. But bolero is a monster when it comes to use, you can drive anywhere with no problem but very low in comfort and high maintenance cost.
- Both cars are good. But I suggest to go with Nexon, that will be more comfortable and overall look of the car is better.
- Selecting between a petrol and a diesel engine would depend on your daily/monthly running of the car. If your daily/monthly driving is more than 50KM/1500KM, then the diesel engine would be a better option, whereas, if it is less, then you may opt for the petrol engine. As for the features, the XZ variant gets more features compared to the XM variant of Tata Nexon. It gets features like 6.5-inch touchscreen ConnectNext infotainment system, rearview camera with display, height-adjustable front seatbelts, etc. Lastly, the resale value of any vehicle would depend on certain factors such as kilometres driven, physical condition of the vehicle, year of registration, etc. thus. it would not be fair to compare the resale value. Moreover, do take a test drive of the car before making the final decision. - Is this 14kmpl mileage based on tank to tank method or normal odometer reading? I am planning to book Nexon XM what mileage should I expect in city?
- Please plan to provide 6 airbags atleast in top model of tata nexon.
- 6 airbags vala veryant konsa Parches kare
- Give 6 airbags on top model of tata nexon
- Its a good car considering the on price of 12 lacs in Mumbai. My top considerations (pros) and downers (cons) post buying / usage for a month now.Pros:1. Best ground clearance in segment2. Turbo charged engine3. Best width in segment (Seats 3 people in 2nd row comfortably)4. Great ride quality 5. Best in segment safety (5 star NCAP rating)Cons:1. Average driving experience with AMT (headnod/ lag during gear shifts)2. Avg. service network compared to Maruti and Hyundai3. Poor resale compared to Maruti and HyundaiFor better automatic experience go for Hyundai Venue DCT SX, if you can increase your budget by 1.5 lacs or Seltos Petrol/ Diesel mid automatic variant.
- Don't hesitate.go ahead.
- There is a minor lag in gear changes, which will not affect your driving. The majorly you will find this in Eco mode only. City and Sports mode are awesome. Definitely DCT is more advanced, less laggy and more costly also. And DCT engines are not much reliable. On the other hand, AMT have evolved very much. You can rely on AMT for long term. And Tata Nexon comes with the best AMT gear box. So Definitely you can go with Nexon AMT.
- While driving any car with AMT, you will experience a lag between gear shifts. For a smoother experience, go for Venue or Sonet with DCT automatic. However, if you find AMT good enough, then you can go for Nexon as it offers a turbo charged engine and Sports driving mode which makes up for the lag between gear shifts.
- Yes, you can feel it. but it is not a big issue. It is just small lagging..
- If you are considering automatic car, i wont recommend Nexon simply because of the AMT. It is not a smooth experience at all.For a reliable and smooth automatic experience, I will recommend you any car with CVT/IVT/Torque converter (mid auto variants of Honda City, Creta, Seltos in 16 lacs). For a torquey, smooth and fun automatic experience, go for a car with DCT (Venue/Sonet 2nd top variant in 14lacs).
- Nexon better
- There is vibration in the steering , especially when AC is on. Also when we start from a stand still position the engine takes off with a judder. Not at all refined. Mine is petrol automatic. 2020 model. Go for other brands , not tata
- There is vibration in the steering , especially when AC is on. Also when we start from a stand still position the engine takes off with a judder. Not at all refined. Mine is petrol automatic. 2020 model. Go for other brands , not tata
- No vibrations in petrol automatic
- Sonet only has features. No rear seat space and comfort as well. Only looks and costlier than Nexon. better get Nexon, its the safest of all and it will not k**l you in accidents
- I am having a similar limbo. I never drove Kia before, what's your take on overall build quality and safety when compared to Tata? Service? Thanks in advance
- As per safety measures I will suggest go for Tata Nexon. Even Nexon is more spacious then Sonet.Hyundai Venue and Sonet space wise almost same.
- No, They have improved there insulation to prevent noise to come outside in BS6 verient.
- Yes
- No
- XZ+ has 1)alloy wheels,2) tyres 215/60/16, 3)automatic climate control,4) button start,5)2 power outlets,6) driver seat up and down,7) Rear row adjustable headrests,8)Driver armrest,9) Rear armrest with cupholder,10) Rear seat split 60:40,11) front power window one touch down,12)Rear degogger,13) Rear wiper,14) halogen on front and rear .these things xz+ has additional
- Xz plus (o) adds up sunroof and cruise control ,dual tone
- Excellent performance on bad roads
- Not too soft not too stiff i would say its proper considering the price segment
- Good
- What is tha tata nexon on road price in canteen rate
- Consider 90k to 100k less than on road price
- 8.34 L. Around 1.4 less.
- Yes better than Kia
- Hello
- Monthly more than 1500 Kms means go for Diesel.Otherwise, Petrol sufficient
- Tata nexon AMT petrol only give 11 Km mileage in city. Better go for Diesel one which gives 22-25 Km average. Fuel cost on your pocket will be half.
- Go for petrol
- All three cars you have mentioned are distinct to each other.1. Nexon is a compact SUV with 5* safety rating. You get a average petrol engine and a good diesel engine option along with AMT options. 2 Altroz is a hatchback with again 5* safety rating. Petrol n diesel engines are really average. 3 Freestyle : Good of both worlds. Good build quality, good petrol/diesel engine. So, Forget Altroz and decide between Nexon n Freestyle
- Nexon abs ebd esctraction hill stop assist projector lamps
- Nexon abs ebd esctraction hill stop assist projector lamps
- It is worth buying but i suggest you must check xms as well, it has 4 features extra.
- Please don't go with this car , this is most worst car in my life
- Better buy XE and go for retrofit.
- It depends, economically if you drive above 100km daily go for diesel else petrol. For driving experience, diesel car are more fun to drive!!
- It's depend on your uses if your daily running is high then go for diesel
- Diesel engine
- Nexon obviously i don't think connectivity is that important, as company claims.
- Nexon because it is the car the lovest cost car in this segment
- Nexon is value for money product
- The tie is always between Nexon and Venue. Others aren't all that great. If you want safety, features, comfort and speed Nexon is for u. If you want quality, comfort, mileage Venue is yr car. If you are an urban driver who also travel between cities and/or to rural areas sometimes, Nexon is yr best bet. If you are urban driver who only seldom take it to the highway and/or commute very little per month then Venue will suit you good.
- Tata Nexon has the most refined engine, the best aesthetics, the most comfortable seats and stuff like traction control and brake assist, unheard of by any other SUV I'm it's class. It also gives you an SUV ownership experience from the inside and outside, while most other SUV's in it's segment look more like upscaled hatchbacks, specially the Ford Ecosport.
- Tata has best engine and saftey standard but when it comes to looks its dull I hoped Nexon should have Tata hbx hornbill design. if you want to buy a good looking power engine xuv 300 Ford eco venue turbo.
- Nope i think the factory engine is smooth and powerful and gives a really impressive mileage
- No idea
- I don't know that but you can travel minimum 80 km after less petrol indicators
- 10 litrs (nexon xm petrol) travel maximum 150km after less petrol indicators
- 1 lit
- Nexon xz+ petrol is best for private use becuz it is sporty and luxury together
- Titanium
- Yes . Very good 👍

- Once you are inside its fine. But while getting in or coming out you need to bend your head down which is little uncomfortable
- Once you are inside its fine. But while getting in and out you have to bend your head...
- Yes it is perfect for 6 feet people and will be good for even more taller people
- You should go for xz+ becuz all the lower varients lack the basic features like even alloy wheels so if you want to buy a lower varient then buy xm or xz+ all the others are not value for money
- To an extent, yes the price point justifies the things you get in XZ like Touch screen system, projector headlamp and DRLs among others
- XM(S),xz (S),XZA (S) variants have sunroof
- XM(S) ,XM+S and XM+O have sunroof
- XMS, XMAS, XZ+S, XZA+S
- From the base to top end petrol engines are turbocharged in Nexon
- All

- 242 MAXIMUM
- You mist confirm that to your nearby showroom if its available they will tell you or else you can go for the new facelift of Tata Nexon which is better than the previous BS4 variant.
- No idea
- Best model for Today's scenario will be XZA+(options) which will give you all the required features in your car extra features are Sunroon, Connected cars technology, leather upholstery, mobile controllable car traction control Cruise control. This is a wonderful package. go with the XZA+Options variant.
- Value for money is XMA or XMA(S) but all features come in XZA+ or XZA+(S)
- Xm
- If the fitting is socket to socket and no wires are cut then no warranty will be void. Most of the seller do it . Check it will good seller.
- No, there will be no affect on the warranty of your car you can definitely add the stereo system aftermarket in your car. Warranty will not be affected.
- If no wires are cut then fine but I would suggest to get it done from showroom itself that would be totally safe
- Yes turbo engines are equally reliable and durable as the normal engine
- Yes
- BS4 Nexon is better choice and you can get it in some showrooms but I would suggest you to go with the new BS6 variant qhich is much better and best in the segment.
- Nexon BS4
- The car is not yet available in CSD canteen. If you are in any of the Defence field in India than only you should ask this question. CSD canteen is not for Civilians this is for Defence people and forces. Please Don't miss use this. If you are a Civilian than purchase your car from the market showroom. CSD canteen is for the facilities of Indian Forces don't missuse it for little amount of money.
- Please don't go with this car , this most worst car 8n my life
- Kya tata nexon availabel in canteen rate
- Nexon(petrol) is punchy in city no problem in bumper to bumper traffic ride quality is good clutch travel is less feels very agile very frugal just push the accelerator it pulls effortlessly
- Please don't go with any model of this car , Please don't go with this car , this is most worst car in my life Kuch na kuch kharab hota rehta hai koi bhi support nahi milta Edit Answer
- The starting price of Nexon in top cities are: </br>Delhi : Rs. 8.87 Lakh ; Mumbai : Rs. 8.63 Lakh ; Kolkata : Rs. 8.51 Lakh ; Hyderabad : Rs. 8.70 Lakh ; Chennai : Rs. 8.57 Lakh ; Bangalore : Rs. 9.53 Lakh.||
- The all new Tata Nexon 2020 with BS6 Norms in out in the market for sell. You can go and buy its, its a brilliant car. Best value for money and best in the segment.
- Already rolled out
- I have XZA version and no they don't give navigation control on steering wheel.
- No
- Tata Nexon diesel engine is extremely responsive no problem in overtaking , performance is puncy and have enough grunt to put smile on your face I can't tell you about long rumn but in 4 month and 2150 km it has not given me any problem can't tell you much about service as I have gone through only 1 free service
- Tata Nexon Diesel Engine in long run is a very good performer even better than any other car in this segment. Its totally worth its price and performance is really very good and most comfortable and safest car in segment. Service cost is not much its 4500/- to 8000/- Rupees after every 15-20000 KM. or 6 months.
- I have nexon from April 2021 and till date i have to took my Car to service centre 3-4 times only for Regeneration process . VEry worst experience when travelling with family on long drive we got DPF after that we follow process given in manual book error disappeared again occured with malfunction error and engine check then you have to take car to service station only.
- Nexon is a very good car in city except for the fact that every pillar on the car is very thick other than this no problem at all extremely responsive diesel engine pulls nicely ,light clutch ,very accurate steering wheel makes it a good car in city
- Tata Nexon is fun to drive every where doesn't matter its city, highway, hills or off-road. Tata Nexon is best for every condition.
- A pillar makes driving little bit tough, and it has got doom on both front body side moulding which makes catchy while parking.
- No you will not get height adjustable seats XMA variant you will get this from XZ variant.
- Nope
- Yes
- All features are positive. The most important thing you are going to get is SECURITY or SEFTY. against which you will have to loose better mileage. Better the security, the lower the mileage. Above all it is a sports like car and so good pick up and sturdy body cannot be combined in lower model. It is well said manual car gives better average than an automatic version. No of views support this fact. For a new beginner, manual gear operation may be advisable to get best mileage. Diesel variant gives better average but, it is not suitable to an average user. It is for a business urpose who has to drive more than hundred kms everyday.and has to earn by more and long driving.Pl go through no of opinions in this regardsHariom Vyas
- Do not make the mistake of going with Tata Nexon as your first car. All the dreams you have about your first vehicle are gonna come crashing on you once you find out the manufacturing defects, quality issues, bad service. Go for Ford if You want complete peace of mind, Kia or Hyundai if you are okay to compromise a little bit on Safety and performance. On Nexon, you'd be compromising on everything. Its a 5 star safety car because it stays in service centers more than it stays on road man!!
- Yes Tata Nexon is the best car and best choice. XM Variant is very good, you will get DRL projector headlights, all safety features like hill assist descent comtrol ABS EBD and everything you want go for it you are gonna love this car.
- XZA+(O) petrol is the best automatic Variant in Tata Nexon.
- XZA
- As. per current scenario You should go with the Tata Nexon XZ+(O) manual variant which is fully loaded with all the features and most important features like sunroof, connected cars Cruise controls, all the safety feature like ABS, EBD, hill assist, traction control, automatic head lamps, rain sensing wipers, and lot more and in the price of 11.7 lakhs onroad you will not get better deal in any other car. Now if you want base Variant than you can choose XM variant in this you can add some features after market but those additional features will not be durable and reliable.for long time. You should go and take a look at both variants and then decide.
- As per your info the sunroof will not very affect the build because because of sunroof the other roof part company make stronger than the car which have no sunroof is . I will not recommended you to add sunroof aftermarket because when company makes a car with sunroof the structure is different and have high strength steel so that the sunroof will not effect very much on car build quality
- As per your info the sunroof will not very affect the build because because of sunroof the other roof part company make stronger than the car which have no sunroof is . - Yes its best in the segment and best value for money car. I am having the Tata Nexon XZ+ 2018 model and I loved it. I would suggest you to once consider the XZ+(O) variant in which you will get all the features like connected cars, sunroof, cruise control and some amazing features in just 1 lakhs extra than XZ+. Tata nexon is fully loaded with features and more power in less price. Its the safest car too.
- Yes
- Not really you should go for honda wrv
- Yes this car is available in all over India.
- Only XMA and xzA
- There are 2 airbags in this car for driver and the front passenger
- Two
- In Tamil Nadu XZ manual petrol onroad price is 11.2 lakhs and XZ plus on road price 12.45 lakhs after price increased on Jan 2022. In Tamil Nadu if the car is more than 10 lakhs then RTO is 15 percentage of Ex showroom price. For below 10 Lakhs car 10 percentage only. Before price increase, XZ Plus on road cost is 11.65 only. Please suggest which variant is value for money.X or Xz plus. Xz plus is worth to buy 12.4 lakhs
- XZ+. XZ and XZ+ have so many features. XZ+ is coming with Alloy wheels which are also wider than XZ, 60:40 Seat split, Auto- AC, rear vents, Front and Rear Arm rests, Rear Defogger, Seat height adjuster and Push Start button with Smart key.
- XZ and XZ+ have so many differences. XZ+ is coming with Alloy wheels which are also wider then XZ, 60:40 Seat split, Auto- AC, rear vents, Front and Rear Arm rests, Rear Defogger, Seat height adjuster and Push Start button with Smart key.
- NEXON definitely. Just try to take test drive of NEXON all doubts will be cleared. Its better than MAHINDRAXUV 300 & ECOSPORT.
- Tata Nexon is best in this segment for every purpose.Ford Ecosport is also good but Tata Nexon is much better.
- Nexon
- Tata Nexon will be better choice because, Buying Kia Seltos HTK Plus doesn't make sense because it has very less features. And at the price of Kia Seltos base model you will get fully loaded Top end Tata Nexon with all required features like Connected cars , sunroof, cruise control, hill assistant,, ebd, abs, more power than Seltos HTK, traction control and all the required features for safety and entertainment and every features. Build quality is better in Tata Nexon and is safest car in India. If you want Kia Seltos go with the GTX DCT variant.
- Definitely Kia Seltos HTK, though it misses with automatic AC which is an essential... but it's priced at the higher side to make the customer feel as if he is having an edge over others... Otherwise, as far as performance, design, comfort, safety is concerned it's at par with nexon… If you can cope with the 'not so rich car owner' tag then nexon is better choice.. otherwise my dear Kia is Kia..
- Considering your budget is 12 lacs, your comparison will be between Nexon XZ+ and Seltos HTK.I would recommend Kia Seltos if you prefer manual transmission. If you want automatic in 12 lacs, go for Nexon XZA+
- If going for diesel you can opt for AMT but for petrol small lag is visible. So take a test drive for more details or as rumoured wait for DCT model in petrol. My suggestion is if planning to buy petrol take manual.
- As per my view, You should go for Automatic variant. This will make to relax while driving. Even in terms of mileage you won't have much difference.
- Go with the manual version it will be better in driving.
- Yes it. has Apple car play android auto and connected cars, cruise control, sunroof and every features required in any car. Best in the segment.
- Yes
- Tata Nexon is best in the segment in terms of performance power build quality, features, styling, safest car in segment, best value for money car. Tata Nexon is best car in this segment.
- NEXON is the best in segment in all respect of the CAR requirements. Performance, pwer, build quality, features, styling, safest car in segment. value for money. Just Grab it.
- Tata nexon best in build quality,my car mileage 29 kmpl diesel automatic and remember this is Indian car first 5 star rating.just go for it
- Tata Nexon is best anytime for sure in every aspect like Performance, power, torque, features, build quality, one of the safest car in India. Tata Nexon is best in the segment and best value for money car.
- Nexon is compact SUV & Baleno is a hatchback car.
- Nexon
- Yes you can. All you need is a skilled installer and a reputed brand CNG kit with OBD2 and 48 pin ECU. I would recommend LOVATO OBD2 kit but if there is a budget constraint you can look for other options too, but make sure the specs do not change. If incase you experience pick up lag, make sure to install a CNG advancer too which should be done by the installer himself. And you do not disrespect any car or brand by installing CNG kit. It's your choice, you choose to save money and environment at the cost of a meagre performance. Make sure you timely service the vehicle, change spark plugs every year and retune the CNG after every service which include air filter change. Wishing you many happy miles.
- You can Install CNG kit in every car but please don't disrespect any car by installing CNG if you want more mileage than go for cars having better'mileage. Installing CNG in any car aftermarket will affect the engine performance and life of the vehicle. Please don't disrespect any car by installing CNG.
- It will void warranty. As it is designed for petrol specs using any alternate fuel with low calorific value may cause an engine to run slightly hotter as it is turbocharged engine and this may affect the life of the engine components.
- Its Amt..it works on cables to change gear...CVT is better as in venue and polo
- Not CVT but it has AMT variant in Tata Nexon.
- No
- There is approx price gap of 1L between petrol and diesel engine models ( for some it's more). So by thumb rule if your daily avg running is less than 30 ( it's actually 50) without a second thought go for petrol engine if the monthly running is more than thousand kilometre go for the Diesel.Though both are gud to drive but diesel engine is more refined.
- Diesel costs 1.5 L more than its Petrol version. It’s quite a much. Also unlike yesteryear price of both fuels are going to be same in next couple of years. So all depends on your usage and when you cut even. Performance wise not much of a difference.
- Both engines are amazing it just depends on your use. If you drive more or you love to travel more like 500-1000km in a week tha go for diesel or else with petrol. Both engine performance is brilliant.
- New Nexon is muscular in looks from every angle. New good design and Grill looks great , even it is safest car and heaving 5 stars rating in Globel ANCAP for driver occupant Tata added more 5 to 6 safety features from its base variant. also All new five shades and top variant heaving option of Sun roof.
- Both are different types of cars but I can say by my experience Tata Nexon is way much better than other cars in the price range. best build quality, amazing engine performance, safest car in India, most comfortable in segment and having very good features and style.
- If you thinking about the transmission performance then go for CVT, it is better then AMT transmission. But if you think about the which vehicle to but, I will suggest you to go with Tata Nexon over Amaze.
- You will regret if you buy venue 1.2.... Because at same price nexon has turbocharged engine instead of weak naturally aspirated engine of venue...Nexon engine gives 120 hp power and 170nm torque... While venue has lazy 82 hp and 113nm torque thats too low for a big car.... Bro engine is the heart of the car... Sab log paisa engine pe lagate hai.. Agar venue hi leni bai then buy venue turbo.. Nexon is a killer car in every aspect
- Performance of both the compact SUVs are al most same.If you are looking for automatic transmission then you have decide AMT (Nexon) and DCT(Venue).I can say from the dirving quality Venue is better since having dct option. But Tata Nexon having more space inside and overall design is better I feel. One more thing, mileage will be more in Tata Nexon. (But this always depends, how are you driving our Car.)
- You should go for TATA Nexon XM variant all the way because it provides a lot of space irrespective of its dimenssions however if you have only mileage in your mind then you should toss because TATA Nexon mileage of 19 is not that bad in addition to its safety features and driving performance which is awesome when it goes on rough roads.
- Yes it has electric sunroof and connect cars feature also.
- Yes
- What cost on road at Gwalior
- Both cars are of different segments if your budget is around 10 lakhs than definitely go for Tata nexon but I will suggest to go with manual transmission because it is much better in driving the car and getting the real fun of car. Automatic transmission is also good but feel of manual transmission is next level.
- Basically both the cars are impressive in their own segments. Nexon has a more powerful engine, and being from a compact SUV family it can be driven over hilly terrains or rough roads without much hassles. Although Nexon is slightly more expensive than Altroz, it is value for money and worth each extra penny that you pay.
- Its all depends on your driving. If you want stress free driving go for automatic and if you are enthusiastic driver then go for manual transmission.
- Nexon is better because it gives high Ground clearance, it is valued for money. It also has safety features like hill assist, electronic brake prefill, traction control, rollover mitigation etc. etc. in all model starting from base model.
- Nexon is far better in terms of features, boot space and spaces. XUV is fun to drive. Best in safety because it has 4 dosc brakes in all wheels combined. Also its a performance machine. Nexon is more of a comfortable machine. Also XUV300 is costlier
- It depends on what you want , if you want performance i would say xuv but if you want much more than that with savings go for nexon also nexon is not underpowered too it just lags in torque with xuv 300.
- It is definitely a brilliant car to drive in every type of roads. In hill areas also performance is very. The new Tata nexon 2020 has hill assist, hill descent control, traction control, hill hold and all the safety features. Petrol and Diesel both are good for every condition and go with the manual transmission if you want car mainly for hill areas.
- It only has Hill Start Assist and ESP with Traction Control. Hill Descent Control and Hill Hold features are not available.
- I have just travelled with Tata Nexon AMT to Ooty. There was no issue while driving to uphill and down hill. Only thing it have poor milage on hills and some time gear shift is not as expected.
- Yes it is available in petrol and diesel both variant

- Yes the Tata Nexon 2020 has sunroof, connected cars and cruise control also in it. Tata nexon has become more attractive and got many more features.
- It does, but it works only half of the times. This is a known issue in Tata sunroofs, or should I say, the electronics
- Obviously Yes. XMS, XMAS, XZA+S, XZA+O, XZ+ all these variants have sunroof
- Yes you get 15 year RC for BS6, mileage is around 10-14 in city and 15-18 on highway in Petrol and 13-16 in city and 16-22 on highway for diesel.
