After two software updates I'd say the steering is better, gives better feedback and confidence at higher speed. Earlier steering was very light just like Hyundai, Volkswagen or Mahindra vehicles but I personally don't like that light a steering.About NVH (cabin and engine) both are better. The engine is a bit noisy but after the second update I find it a tad lesser noisy but anyway I don't find it much of an issue. I would prefer the cabin more insulated than the current... As per suggestions from experienced drivers, for Indian conditions the meat (tyre) should be more bulkier to protect the wheel. The current 17 inch wheel size is ideal for 235/65 tyres of Harrier XZ. Its been 2500 kms in a month, City Mode giving 16+ mileage provided you drive within 50-70 speed. In Delhi this speed is not a choice. Drive quality of Duster is better than Harrier. Even offers 4x4 option. Looks wise both have good road presence (Harrier has edge in looks). If you can wait Duster face-lift model is to come sometime by 2020 first quarter. Wait for it, as it may have lots of addition of features and far muscular looks than current model (also price can get hiked because of the additions). It will be class apart as it is and will the only car with genuine 4x4 option in the price bracket below 20 lakhs.But, for immediate purchase, if you like to have huge wagon kind of car for long drives Harrier can handle the drives graciously. Punchy engine, fun on the highway more so in Sports mode. Pretty agile, it instills confidence in you while driving at high speed unlike other suvs I've drove due to too soft suspensions or high body roll... It has good stability, almost no body roll, planted and eases out rough roads. The drive modes do work like charm for what they made for, rough mode does changes the drive dynamics, more responsive suspension, etc.Initial issues with drive mode, etc. I'd experienced have ceased after couple of software update which is done free of cost at the service station. The newer version I heard is going to be launched with company fitted sunroof (personally i dont dig it), bigger tyres (from 17 to 18), tyre monitoring system, etc.

Hi I am using Harrier from last month driving this car superb without any discomfort. JBL sound system is suberp quality. Speed mode is amazing. Cruze control is amazing and average is 16 K.M. Lookwise it is class then MG Hectar, Kia Seltos and Jeep Compass. If you are looking to buy Creta high-end, it costs around 18-18.5 lakhs on road. Harrier XZ high end is 19.5 on road price (without extended warranty, accessories etc).
