The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder 'Energy' dual-VVT petrol engine in Triber comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Moreover, the Triber is also available with an option of 5-speed 'Easy-R' AMT.
The turbo-petrol engine in Renault Triber is likely to be launched in 2022. The new turbo-petrol engine in question is the 1.0-litre unit from the Kiger and Nissan Magnite. It develops 100PS of power, 160Nm of torque and drives the front wheels. Just like the SUVs, the Triber Turbo should be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a CVT. If you are not willing to wait that long then you may go with the current-gen Triber. The MPV packs in solid value, offering a lot of car for not much money. It could do with some more features, and a stronger engine for roadtrips but at least we now have an AMT for easier city commuting. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

It would be unfair to give a verdict here since both Tata Tiago and Altroz are of different segments when compared to the Renault Triber. Moreover, the Triber packs in solid value, offering a lot of car for not much money. It’s packing in just enough features to get you excited, and there’s reassurance in the safety department with four airbags as well. If you needed a no-nonsense companion for your big family, the Triber does that without breaking the household budget. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Renault Triber:- highlight of the car is 7 seater this is the only reason middle class people fall love with this car. Avg mileage is 10 , no safety, avg performance, looks good, uncomfortable for 3rd row passengers (for kids it okay but low quality seats) and 2nd row middle seat is also uncomfortable, spare parts are expensive and they have not done safety test and it is very poor , it is may be 7 seater but car can't claim the hills, flyovers that easily with 7 passengers, it is not that good as Tata and Renault is flop in India , with less mileage and low built up quality, so it risky to buy,it is good in city's and if your traveling monthly 3000Km in traffic areas like Bangalore then buy ertiga, because Renault Triber petrol chargers you can pay Monthly EMI for ertiga.About TATA ALTROZ , good performance, avg 15kmpl mileage, more important safety is 5 Star, good looking, tata company is bad at marketing so many people don't about this car. Tata is our proud Indian company it gives the best value for the Money.
We are waiting for TRIBER 's Forthcoming TURBO model for extra power and better mileage( After launch of Kiger). Thanks Reynault as it is India's Ist modular car that could be used as a India's first RV .As a RV in it 2-4 persons can rest/ sleep easily in exigency., by removing 3rd row seats ,and rolling forward one seat of middle row forward; 2 person can sleep laying down and two with pushing back.their seats. This thus could be a boon in COVID -19 Pandemic period to avoid hotel stay.Turbo model with more power could be used to pull a tear drop trailer if required like in U.S.A./ Europe to travel with family.
Renault Triber is a perfect MPV when you want to use it sometimes for 7 seater. Third row is comfortable for adults as well - Do not expect you ll get Innova type feeling - But very decent.Look is good So if you hv a family when you want to use the 7 seats for some times then triber is better choice. If you never want 7 seat then you can look for other options.
I drove triber to nelliyampathy a hilly region in kerala steep offroad without a single power lag. I didn't remember an underpowered situation with 7 persons in it. Its performance is much more than omni 800 maruti 800 nano wagon r k10b normal engine. Price wise also a 7 seater triber is a lucky buy than 22 lakhs innova and 12 lakhs ertiga. Company knows well how to manage in steep hilly roads with full load. Envious people please don't die hard
No way. First of all if you have 7 passengers you won't have any room for luggage. Regarding power, it depends on the road; if you have p*t holes and have to stop and crawl, I wouldn't recommend that. I tried with 4 adults in such conditions but I had to turn off a/c quite often. It is extremely unrefined engine for this purpose. In my experience it is only good for highways. City mileage is in single digits!
Kwid is good with 999cc engine ,and rate too,i don't say it won't run ,on plane roads you put 800cc it will run, always load, temp, fuel consumption plays a vital role, but once space is increased you drive alone or with 4 passenger AC has to work hard thus loading engine,so partial increase of 200 cc could have played magic .u will see after this company will launch 1200 0r 1400 cc after this with 7 seater, that is business strategy .
Engine is covered under warranty for 2 years. You can also extend it for another 3 years before your current warranty expires. This will become void if you alter the factory set conditions.
The current engine is a lousy piece of s**t loaded with a heap of drawbacks even in consuming petrol. Do you want this engine to consume other fuel and see what happens? Dude you must be having balls made of iron. lol For More more detailed info search google for 'Renault Triber real user review - Average mileage 9-10.5'
It is compatible. but endorsement will not on rc. You can use 12 kg cng cylinder with 7 seater option. I also want to run on cng after 2 year
How it's possible to install CNG without removing any seats?? I think its not possible to install CNG cylinder by keep all seats as it is.
